What is prno uk Sennheiser IE 300 in-Ear Audiophile Headphones - Sound Isolation with XWB Transducers for Balanced Sound; Detachable strap with flexible ear hooks; 2 years warranty (black) Choose with confidence?

An audiophiles dream: these prno uk portable and lightweight earphones produce balanced and incredibly detailed Hi-Fi sound everywhereEquipped with a prno uk para-aramid reinforced cable with gold plated MMCX Fidelity plus connector which prno uk possesses a special recessed and robust design to ensure reliability even after over 500 attachment cyclesThis is the "home" pair of earphones you always want prno uk to return to. prno uk The fit, comfort and noise isolation are all just right. I'm a fan of the 360deg prno uk swivel. prno uk Sound is prno uk simply phenomenal - very musical, fun and non-fatiguing. prno uk It features a prno uk typical prno uk Sennheiser sound: V-shaped, yet highly detailed and smooth; it can be said prno uk to have the Sennheiser 'veil' (because of this sound signature). Forgiving prno uk and pleasant. Plenty of bass, and prno uk slightly emphasized treble prno uk (but never fatiguing). prno uk Amazing prno uk soundstage prno uk and good imaging. This prno uk specific sound profile has the prno uk advantage that you can listen prno uk at above-average volumes, and the loudness is never prno uk tiring, prno uk always beautifully diffused (unless prno uk you go crazy prno uk high of course). Very refined, detailed, and prno uk SO comfortable. Can be worn for hours on prno uk end and you'll enjoy every prno uk minute of it.This is my 2nd prno uk Sennheiser prno uk product, prno uk the previous being the HD 598 SE open-back headphones, and prno uk I prno uk am prno uk very prno uk satisfied. This review just prno uk gives an overall picture prno uk and prno uk focuses on the sound, which is just sublime. Another point of note prno uk is that these earphones cannot be said to have an audiophile sound - although it definitely has audiophile-grade prno uk quality and build - because I understand prno uk an audiophile signature prno uk to be more neutral, more prno uk unforgiving and prno uk exact. This leans towards purely prno uk music lovers, anyone prno uk who can appreciate phenomenal sound prno uk reproduction prno uk of prno uk their favourite prno uk music - as the box says, "High-fidelity earphones prno uk for sophisticated music enjoyment".TL;DR: I prno uk really like prno uk these. They sound great prno uk and they are incredibly comfortable, but prno uk I prno uk wish prno uk they had prno uk a slightly flatter frequency response.I prno uk picked prno uk these up while prno uk they were on sale for $200 rather than prno uk the regular prno uk $300 price. Most of the reviews I had seen suggested prno uk that they were really great IEMs, prno uk but that there prno uk were others that prno uk were a better prno uk value for the prno uk dollar, so I prno uk waited. At prno uk $200, though, I think they are a prno uk pretty great deal. That puts them right at the same range prno uk as the HD560s, my prno uk current favorite prno uk pair prno uk of headphones. My prno uk goal was to get prno uk something that prno uk had a prno uk similar sound and gaming performance to those prno uk but in an prno uk IEM form factor. The IE prno uk 300 are not really that, but they are still really great if prno uk you don't have unrealistic expectations prno uk for what they should be able to do.Regarding the sound, they do still prno uk sound prno uk like Sennheisers, but with noticeably more bass prno uk and less prno uk upper mids than I have prno uk come to expect. Frequency prno uk response graphs are a little misleading, though, as prno uk they don't really feel like prno uk there is as much extra prno uk bass prno uk as the graphs might lead you prno uk to prno uk believe. But it's still definitely prno uk more of a V-shaped prno uk sound than the prno uk usual Sennheiser sound. More bass, prno uk but still tight and not boomy or prno uk bloated; more treble than I am used prno uk to, but not harsh or fatiguing; and prno uk still the same level of prno uk detail I'd expect. prno uk This gives them a more prno uk "fun" sound rather prno uk than an prno uk accurate, analytical one.The tips, though... I've seen several reviews say that the silicone prno uk ones don't form a prno uk good seal and I am inclined prno uk to agree. I had to use the prno uk foam tips to get a proper prno uk fit. Final Audio's silicone tips also do prno uk a better job if prno uk you have some lying around prno uk or don't prno uk mind buying some. Overall fit and comfort is prno uk excellent, though. For gaming performance, I was hoping these would somehow get around prno uk the laws of physics and give prno uk me the same sort of open, immersive sound that the HD560s or PC38x do, but of course, these prno uk do not do that. prno uk They are IEMs, after prno uk all. prno uk Final Audio tends to do a bit prno uk better in that prno uk regard, prno uk but I hate how those sound, so... prno uk Regardless, the left/right prno uk positioning is prno uk very prno uk good and prno uk you prno uk won't have prno uk any trouble prno uk figuring out where things are around you, prno uk you're just prno uk not going prno uk to get that same level of "being there" prno uk that prno uk you would with the PC38x. You might be able to use prno uk some virtual surround prno uk processing to mimic that kind of feel, but I haven't tried it yet. Who knows, maybe Sennheiser will prno uk follow after prno uk Sony and make an open IEM/earbud for the best of both worlds. Finally, these are super sensitive and super prno uk efficient, which is prno uk honestly a bit of a problem. I usually prno uk use a THX Onyx and I have to set the volume prno uk to 3-4 (out of 100) prno uk for a prno uk reasonable volume. Anything louder than that is prno uk just way too loud. I prno uk can prno uk usually prno uk put the HD560s anywhere from 10-16, depending on what I am prno uk listening to. Even with just an Apple dongle I prno uk have the volume set to 4-6. I'm now wondering if there is a less powerful amp that might prno uk give prno uk me a more usable volume range...Anyway, these are really nice IEMs prno uk for $200. prno uk They sound excellent for music and while prno uk they prno uk don't perform miracles for gaming, they still do a prno uk good job there, too. For $300, it's a harder sell, prno uk IMO, but if the $200 price sticks, definitely grab a prno uk pair.Product Note prno uk : If prno uk the size of prno uk the earbud tips does not match the size of your prno uk ear canals or the prno uk headset is prno uk not worn properly in your ears, prno uk you may not obtain the prno uk correct sound prno uk qualities or call prno uk performance. Change the earbud prno uk tips to ones that fit prno uk more snugly prno uk in your earsExceptional prno uk isolation prno uk from your environment prno uk for prno uk clear sound and a big soundstage everywhere thanks prno uk to the wide assortment of silicone cushion and memory foam ear-tips which are included in different sizes to prno uk meet your personal needsI'm an audiophile and music lover. As prno uk such prno uk I prno uk have no need for Bluetooth headphones or IEMs. prno uk But prno uk I'm also careful with my money prno uk and buy prno uk the best I a can afford.. I'm not price-no-object shopper.I wanted a pair of prno uk IEM's prno uk to prno uk go prno uk with my A&K SR25 as prno uk I found using my Beyerdynamic prno uk T51 more of prno uk a pain than I wanted when prno uk heading into the prno uk office prno uk or traveling... especially prno uk with traveling. And I didn't find the T51's a particularly prno uk good match with the SR25.. I think the Beyerdynamics prno uk needed a bit more prno uk power behind them.I read prno uk oodles of reviews and had preliminary settled on the IE300's from Sennheiser, prno uk but was concerned about the $300 price, prno uk but when I found prno uk them for prno uk $200 on Amazon I struck. Especially since I was getting ready to do some prno uk traveling. Are they perfect prno uk No. The prno uk common critique I found in reviews was the prno uk mids were perhaps a bit prno uk recessed prno uk (the prno uk frequency curve prno uk for the IE300's prno uk is a shall prno uk U prno uk with emphasis in bass and prno uk highs), but to be prno uk honest..I didn't encounter this prno uk issue. Perhaps I just didn't get to any music where it would have become more apparent. They prno uk are punchy prno uk in prno uk the bass without bloat. The prno uk highs are smooth prno uk and prno uk airy without trace of sibilance. You prno uk can turn them up prno uk and they prno uk ask for more. prno uk I found them to be sonically prno uk a prno uk great match prno uk with the rather neutral nature prno uk of the SR25 from A&K.I'm 6'4" and prno uk I had no trouble finding a good combination of fit with prno uk the included prno uk earpieces. I had expected to prefer the prno uk memory foam, but prno uk found the prno uk middle prno uk rubber prno uk ones prno uk to prno uk be better prno uk for me. They created a good seal for prno uk passive blocking of outside sound, and they prno uk remained absolutely prno uk comfortable for 8-hours of non-stop use. This is the first prno uk pair of IEM's I have owned which prno uk I can say that about.Knowing what I know now... having had them for a few weeks and having used them prno uk pretty extensively during this time, I am willing to say that parting with $300 would have prno uk been worth prno uk it. They may have more competition prno uk at that price point, but I feel prno uk comfortable with prno uk that assessment.Larger-than-life sound from 7mm prno uk XWB prno uk transducers, prno uk crafted in prno uk Germany specifically for in-ear listening prno uk using prno uk the entire frequency spectrum for critical prno uk hearing of prno uk all elements of the songBuy with prno uk confidence: 2-Year prno uk warrantyA specialized back volume and absorbing resonator chamber reduces frequency prno uk masking effects to improve clarityThe quality is as prno uk good as prno uk one prno uk could expect from in-ear headphones. I found the manipulation prno uk required to get secured prno uk in the ears prno uk to prno uk be more prno uk difficult than they should be. I am guessing prno uk that over time prno uk it prno uk might become more routine, but until then I prno uk end opting for my prno uk other prno uk sets which are much easier prno uk to maneuver.Product includes: Cable with MMCX prno uk Fidelity plus connectors prno uk and 3.5mm plug, Silicone & Memory Foam Sets (S, M, prno uk L), Carry Case, Cleaning prno uk Tool and User Manual
