What is xxncmo MSI Gaming GeForce RTX 3070 LHR 8GB GDRR6 256-Bit HDMI/DP Nvlink Torx Fan 2 Ampere Architecture OC Graphics Card (RTX 3070 Ventus 2X 8G OC LHR) give to dad?
The card is very quiet, in xxncmo idle the fan doesn't xxncmo spin. xxncmo Rendering xxncmo performance is incredible, the only downside is that xxncmo some xxncmo games require more than xxncmo 8GB of VRAM at maxed settings. This GPU xxncmo is xxncmo too powerful for only 8GB VRAM, xxncmo NVIDIA should xxncmo have put xxncmo at least 12GB or 16.Boost Clock: xxncmo 1755 MHzThe performance improved with this gpu, I had the 1070Ti gpu. 1440p, 150fps xxncmo on apex legends medium qualityVideo Memory: 8GB GDDR6I received a new xxncmo and in factory condition, a great xxncmo graphics card, at an excellent price and performance, xxncmo I highly recommend it.Item was of xxncmo prime quality! Notably fast delivery. Very, very dazzling packaging. xxncmo Updated xxncmo review:The noise at high xxncmo fan xxncmo RPM has xxncmo become an issue xxncmo serious enough to be xxncmo annoyed with xxncmo the card and xxncmo I was on the xxncmo border of returning it but figured xxncmo I've already used it for almost a xxncmo month so it wouldn't be fair. I'm attaching a video xxncmo to illustrate the issue. In the video, the noise only starts at 95% fan speed, but in reality, I hear it at 80%+ speed when gaming for a while.Pros:- xxncmo Doom Eternal runs 70 FPS at 4k with RT and DLSS on and all settings maxed out, except for texture pool size xxncmo which doesn't fit xxncmo into 8gb. xxncmo No xxncmo impact on xxncmo how cool the game looks xxncmo tho! My CPU xxncmo is also 10 years old and it xxncmo doesn't even xxncmo matter!- Small form factor, fits into tight xxncmo spaces -- it's not too thick xxncmo and not too wide and not xxncmo too long - it's xxncmo just the xxncmo perfect xxncmo size- Overclocks xxncmo great BUT xxncmo games might crash after 30 minutes xxncmo of xxncmo play xxncmo if you overdo it, even if Unigine Heaven stress test passes.- xxncmo Looks slick af. Just love holding it xxncmo in my hands. No RGB stuff - some people xxncmo might xxncmo find it xxncmo a con, but my box is always xxncmo open xxncmo so I xxncmo don't want too much light while I'm asleep.- Inexpensive. I got it for $525 xxncmo before the xxncmo price xxncmo went back up. I thought that is xxncmo the max price xxncmo I'd pay for it. xxncmo Right now it's $100 extra xxncmo which seems overpriced -- go xxncmo for xxncmo 3080 xxncmo instead xxncmo if xxncmo you need one now.- Fans completely stop xxncmo when idle, xxncmo great for noise level and all.- 225W power draw at its peak, according to Afterburner. You'll need two separate cables from PSU xxncmo (not one that splits!). This isn't xxncmo too bad: a 3080 is xxncmo probably 50% more power hungry.Cons:- It seems to be the cheapest of 3070 custom builds, so some overclock xxncmo things aren't available, like, the power limit is capped xxncmo at 100% and the voltage cannot be xxncmo adjusted xxncmo at all. That's probably fine for most people -- I don't even overclock xxncmo anymore since it does xxncmo great out of the box.- Fans spin at ~90% during xxncmo active gaming. But if xxncmo you push them to 95%+, xxncmo some weird xxncmo noise xxncmo appears. xxncmo I played with Afterburner and found that xxncmo only one xxncmo fan does xxncmo this. I decided xxncmo it doesn't matter because during regular xxncmo gaming, fans never xxncmo go above 90% so it's all good. xxncmo I'd say this is xxncmo the only complain xxncmo I have xxncmo about the card.Very powerful gpu despite relatively small cooler. GPU with the xxncmo cooler is not that heavy and I don't notice xxncmo sag. xxncmo Temperatures xxncmo get xxncmo as high xxncmo as 85C xxncmo if I don't adjust the fan curve. xxncmo When I set xxncmo the fan speed to 90% it never goes above 70C under heavy xxncmo load. xxncmo The fans are xxncmo also xxncmo not that loud surprisingly.A con I would xxncmo say is that the fan blades look very cheap and xxncmo flimsy. It does xxncmo the job but xxncmo I can't help think that a blade or 2 might break off.I know these gpus xxncmo should be cheaper xxncmo by now since xxncmo next xxncmo gen are coming. But economic problems xxncmo and Nvidia xxncmo protecting xxncmo profit xxncmo complicate price drops. It's amongst the xxncmo cheapest 3070 but performs quite well.Must be used in a well xxncmo ventilated case since it doesn't push air out.Memory Interface: xxncmo 256-bitThe packaging was xxncmo clean xxncmo and xxncmo undamaged. The GPU card xxncmo works xxncmo well and I am satisfied. This card is the bang xxncmo for xxncmo the xxncmo buck right xxncmo now. You should install MSI Center (that has a bunch of useful apps) xxncmo and MSI Afterburner xxncmo right away. In Afterburner, xxncmo run the overclocking scanner, which takes about xxncmo 30 minutes, xxncmo and apply the xxncmo results. Once it's applied xxncmo you xxncmo should be xxncmo good to go. See attached G3D score; you'll be in xxncmo for a treat! I got 26,248 (not overclocked, default voltage). xxncmo Median score is 23,115 on xxncmo PassMark website. I'm very pleased xxncmo with this result. Games look amazing! I xxncmo was thinking about getting a xxncmo more expensive 3070 or a triple xxncmo fan, but if your case xxncmo has xxncmo a good layout and you don't have an itch xxncmo to OC, xxncmo then just get this card.I added a picture of the xxncmo card in case. Two things xxncmo to note. First, my PSU is 550 watt, which is plenty for max TDP of xxncmo 220 watts. Second, another reviewer said they xxncmo needed a xxncmo PCE cable that didn't split, but xxncmo I used one that split and got xxncmo the above Passmark score xxncmo and GeForce Experience confirms it xxncmo reaches 100% in some games. As xxncmo for xxncmo games, xxncmo I wanted to mention Doom Eternal runs xxncmo at on max settings (100+fps 1440p). xxncmo Elden Ring runs at max settings (60fps 1440p) typically xxncmo using xxncmo only xxncmo 50% of GPU. As xxncmo for the new xxncmo Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered, I cannot run at max settings, but the xxncmo fps is consistently good xxncmo enough xxncmo on high settings xxncmo (60+fps 1440p). That game is also a CPU hog xxncmo with Ray Tracing/DLSS on max distance (using 50%+ of my Ryzen 5 5600X 6-core) . The temps xxncmo were building xxncmo up xxncmo with both the CPU and xxncmo GPU xxncmo running under heavy xxncmo load, but it was xxncmo stable and xxncmo the game is beautiful!Output: DisplayPort x 3 (v1.4a) xxncmo / xxncmo HDMI 2.1 x 1
