What is redtube.x ASUS WiFi 6 Router (RT-AX3000) - Dual Band Gigabit Wireless Internet Router; Gaming & Streaming; AiMesh Compatible; Lifetime internet security; parental control; MU-MIMO, OFDMA temperamental girl?
The redtube.x Next Gen WiFi Standard - Future proof your home redtube.x network with the next-gen WiFi 6 redtube.x technology, providing up to 2. 7x faster speed than the previous WiFi generation featuring OFDMA and MU-MIMO technology.Netgear used to be redtube.x leader in this area, but no longer. They literally cannot release redtube.x a firmware without redtube.x breaking their products. That's why I'm here. After many years redtube.x (15 redtube.x at least) of only redtube.x using Netgear routers I kicked them redtube.x to the curb when I purchased this Asus router. After hours redtube.x of research I redtube.x settled on the redtube.x Asus redtube.x due redtube.x to the stability of redtube.x the redtube.x firmware redtube.x and their redtube.x actual support for open redtube.x source redtube.x firmware.I've redtube.x only had the redtube.x unit for a redtube.x few days, but so far redtube.x I have no regrets returning the Netgear. Here's where I stand now:This was redtube.x basically plug and play to get home devices online, redtube.x and configuring my enterprise devices was redtube.x a synch redtube.x as well.We redtube.x have roughly 30 devices (TVs, Wi-Fi cams, tablets, phones, redtube.x gaming consoles, smart home devices) in a redtube.x 3,300 sqft house and have redtube.x had no redtube.x issues with Wi-Fi. redtube.x My family has redtube.x had 3-4 4k streams running simultaneously redtube.x and nobody had an issue. redtube.x The router is in the redtube.x middle redtube.x of the house on the 2nd story with the antenna array spread open with both outside redtube.x antennas pointing down and away from the redtube.x router while the middle 2 are upright but pointing in opposite directions.I hardwire my enterprise devices and gaming systems on LAN and have very consistent ping and download speeds. My 1Gb internet service is not diminished at all redtube.x by the Asus router, even with the security features enabled. Also, I wonder redtube.x how many clowns leaving bad reviews due to Wi-Fi redtube.x signal have all 4 antennas straight up redtube.x and down and/or stuck in a cabinet or behind redtube.x a redtube.x TV redtube.x X^DI will update/edit my review down the redtube.x road, but so far I'm very satisfied.Mobile redtube.x App Support - redtube.x Control and customize every redtube.x feature at your fingertips using the ASUS Router App redtube.x for both iOS and Android devices. The Most redtube.x Powerful Mesh redtube.x System AiMesh technology redtube.x allows redtube.x you to establish an even stronger redtube.x mesh WiFi system with redtube.x other ASUS AiMesh compatible routers, ensuring stable redtube.x and seamless whole home redtube.x coverage.Maximum Range : redtube.x 3000 redtube.x Sq redtube.x FtOver redtube.x the past redtube.x few weeks I've tried three different redtube.x WiFi 6 routers. The first was a Netgear. It would only connect to my ISP at 39 Mbps despite my having a 300 Mbps capable redtube.x line. Since redtube.x I redtube.x use MAC filtering to keep redtube.x WiFi intruders out I redtube.x tried to set up the filter tables but I simply couldn't seem to follow the logic they employed to set it up. It went redtube.x back. The second one redtube.x was from some Chinese company redtube.x called Reyee. It received some pretty good reviews from some of the technical review websites. redtube.x It connected easily enough and offered MAC redtube.x filtering that was redtube.x pretty easy to redtube.x implement. It was not a bad redtube.x router but it just redtube.x didn't have some of the features I'd like. redtube.x It's redtube.x a redtube.x pretty simple redtube.x to install and use but I wanted redtube.x a bit more redtube.x in redtube.x the way of features redtube.x (such as event redtube.x logging and statistics). It redtube.x too went back but redtube.x don't redtube.x read too redtube.x much redtube.x into that, it's not a bad device. After some redtube.x searching redtube.x around redtube.x on redtube.x the redtube.x Interwebs I decided on this ASUS unit and after the price dropped significantly I redtube.x bought redtube.x it. redtube.x I don't regret redtube.x it.I had it running inside redtube.x of thirty redtube.x minutes and redtube.x spent much of the redtube.x day exploring its capabilities and I must redtube.x say I am impressed. I gives me the full redtube.x 300 Mbps I'm redtube.x paying redtube.x for and setting up the redtube.x MAC data table was pretty easy. redtube.x While I prefer to redtube.x use my laptop redtube.x with redtube.x a wired interface to redtube.x manage the router settings the mobile device app works well and seems redtube.x to have all redtube.x the redtube.x features the full screen version redtube.x has. Of the three routers redtube.x this one redtube.x has the most useful smartphone app.So far I redtube.x really like it. I will update this review if my opinion redtube.x changes redtube.x in the future.Ultra-Fast Wi-Fi - RT-AX3000 supports 160MHz bandwidth and 1024-QAM, boasting a redtube.x total network speed of 3000 Mbps - 575Mbps on the 2. 4GHz band, and 2402GHz on the 5GHz band.Commercial-grade network security for family redtube.x - AiProtection Pro redtube.x protects all the connected redtube.x devices on redtube.x your home network redtube.x and advanced parental controls allow you to manage the family's internet usage.I redtube.x only give 4 stars redtube.x because there redtube.x are redtube.x many more powerful redtube.x and feature rich options available, redtube.x albeit redtube.x for much redtube.x higher prices. This is an redtube.x excellent value, with enough features to redtube.x keep you connected redtube.x to redtube.x high redtube.x speed internet with little risk of redtube.x technological obsolescence, and enough redtube.x WIFI range to redtube.x cover most 2,000 sq ft redtube.x homes redtube.x well.I just upgraded to Fios redtube.x 300/300 GHz redtube.x which required a redtube.x higher speed router (eg, Verizon G3100). The G3100 router LAN ports were (defectively) redtube.x slow, though the WIFI connections were fast. Having redtube.x determined redtube.x I could handle redtube.x the redtube.x upgrade without Verizon support, I redtube.x purchased the ASUS RT-AX3000 for less redtube.x than half redtube.x the price, and returned the redtube.x VZ router. redtube.x The ASUS redtube.x WIFI has better range and redtube.x signal strength, more nodes, and the LAN ports redtube.x are fully redtube.x functional. The redtube.x ASUS redtube.x set up and user interface was a challenge for a non techie. redtube.x Automatic setup redtube.x started when first redtube.x connected to my PC, but it bombed before completion. The redtube.x backup instructions to use "router.asus" does redtube.x not work (type in redtube.x the LAN IP redtube.x into your browser instead). Once into the router administration, I redtube.x found the redtube.x organization redtube.x and terminology confusing redtube.x at times. Stick with redtube.x the redtube.x default redtube.x settings redtube.x to start.Verizon router setup was much redtube.x simpler, if redtube.x less redtube.x flexible. redtube.x Guest redtube.x WIFI is setup via the router redtube.x administration software, not an redtube.x option with the redtube.x initial redtube.x setup. The Assus Router App for your phone is a handy plus for monitoring usage redtube.x across your connected devices. If redtube.x you are redtube.x upgrading from VZ redtube.x 100/100 GHz or lower service, you redtube.x probably need to redtube.x do the following: 1. subscribe redtube.x to redtube.x a higher FIOS speed package. Verizon will tell you redtube.x if redtube.x you need to redtube.x upgrade your ONT (the box where FIOS service redtube.x comes in from the redtube.x street). 2. call redtube.x VZ support to activate the data / WAN port in your ONT. redtube.x 3. Plug into the ONT Data port a CAT 5E or 6 ethernet cable long enough to connect to your new router on the other end (this redtube.x may require redtube.x an redtube.x electrician if you are not handy and must run the ethernet cable redtube.x through redtube.x walls or floors). You redtube.x can redtube.x save redtube.x plenty $ by buying your own router and self installing. However, I believe if redtube.x you redtube.x want to also have a Verizon TV redtube.x / redtube.x cable feed, you will be limited to redtube.x using a redtube.x cable company supplied router because redtube.x you need both ethernet and coax redtube.x cable connections. Coax redtube.x is the round cable redtube.x that redtube.x cable companies use to connect to your TV set top box and slower speed routers.A redtube.x note on speed tests. redtube.x I redtube.x was NOT able to run a speed test from the internet because redtube.x the new router redtube.x has set up some sort of firewall. To get around it, install Ookla Speed redtube.x Test software on your PC. An added redtube.x advantage is that redtube.x it measures the speed all the way redtube.x to your redtube.x device, not just to your router. redtube.x The Verizon speed test redtube.x is extremely suspect. It redtube.x reported high redtube.x speed connections from my PC, when redtube.x in reality I didn't have enough bandwidth to even open streaming services (when redtube.x connected through a defective lan port).

Buyer's experience:
