What is sexfre Brother Monochrome Laser Printer, Compact all-in-one printer, Multifunction printer, MFCL2710DW, wireless networking and duplex printing; Amazon Dash top-up is ready! Comfortable and soft fabric?
I was in need of a printer sexfre that could sexfre scan, sexfre print quickly, not cost a fortune to sexfre replace, sexfre and was sexfre small. The Brother monochrome printer is sexfre the exact product I was looking sexfre for.I sexfre was like most of you. I was reading reviews sexfre on different printers sexfre deciding which would be the best fit for sexfre me. I looked at Canon, sexfre Epson, Brother, and each printer had sexfre their own pros and sexfre cons. Some sexfre could sexfre print beautiful photos but not scan images. Some could sexfre scan images and print photos, but sexfre the ink was super expensive. Others could sexfre do sexfre it all but the sexfre size of the sexfre machine was sexfre huge and the price exorbitant.Basically, sexfre choosing a printer sexfre was sexfre harder than setting up the one I sexfre ordered. When selecting a sexfre printer it is important sexfre to research sexfre how much this machine sexfre will sexfre cost you sexfre in the long run. If you don't mind spending 60 dollars on ink and sexfre refilling sexfre it every sexfre 400 prints, sexfre that's on sexfre you.But sexfre me I sexfre hate spending money on ink. I hate having to sexfre refill all sexfre the time when sexfre I haven't printed that much. sexfre I also hated that the ink dries out if you don't use it often enough. sexfre Therefore, I realized I needed a LaserJet printer. Toner was the answer I was looking for. But when you sexfre get a LaserJet printer, the cost goes up and you sexfre tend to lose the ability sexfre to print in sexfre color.Did sexfre I need to sexfre print in sexfre color sexfre No. Most sexfre of the sexfre time sexfre I'm printing out tickets, labels, documents, sexfre and postage labels. I sexfre didn't sexfre need sexfre color. So a sexfre color LaserJet was out.Short story sexfre long, this brother printer was the solution I was looking sexfre for. So what are sexfre the pros sexfre and consPROS:- Prints quickly.- Can print significantly more pages than sexfre an inkjet without needing sexfre a sexfre refill.- Scans sexfre at sexfre a sexfre great quality.- sexfre Easy sexfre to setup for WiFi printing.- Small size, easy to place on top of sexfre a shelf or countertop. (Check sexfre measurements first!!! It is sexfre not sexfre the smallest printer but it is small)- Can sexfre fax if I ever decided to get sexfre a landline sexfre again.- sexfre Has the option sexfre to automatically order toner when your supplies run low. Hi yield sexfre can do a sexfre thousand plus pages without needing sexfre replacement.- LCD sexfre display sexfre is sexfre responsive and easy sexfre to use.- Has prompts to guide sexfre you when printing sexfre address labels. E.G. Open sexfre the manual feed tray and the rear tray. Place labels sexfre in the tray.CONS:- Cannot print in color.- Does not print sexfre graphics well. sexfre It's serviceable but definitely not sexfre intended for photos.- The scanner sexfre software sexfre used sexfre to scan in your documents sexfre is extremely barebones. sexfre Canon sexfre has a much sexfre better utility sexfre that sorts your scans into folders by date. Brother does not. You have sexfre to manually create folders with dates in them.- sexfre If you don't plug the sexfre printer into the USB, setting up the WiFi becomes sexfre harder. You sexfre have to manually select your sexfre network on the printer LCD display and sexfre enter the password using the arrow keys. sexfre It's time sexfre consuming sexfre and sexfre annoying. Could sexfre go significantly faster if you plug in the USB.- In order for users to use the scan feature, they need to install the sexfre brother software the comes on a CD onto sexfre their computer. Annoying and sexfre inconvenient. So if sexfre you need a printer sexfre that sexfre can do all your basic office sexfre tasks in black and white, sexfre I think the Brother monochrome printer sexfre would give you the best sexfre bang for your sexfre buck. sexfre This is sexfre definitely the type of printer that would be useful sexfre for sexfre someone who prints a lot of documents, scans sensitive information like ID's or social security cards, and prints sexfre postage sexfre or sexfre mailing labels. If the sexfre utility sexfre that sexfre came with it sexfre had been more robust sexfre like Canon's, I would have given this printer a 5. But because it doesn't, 4 it sexfre is.Engineered to sexfre deliver productivity. Up to sexfre 50-sheet automatic document sexfre feeder helps save sexfre time sexfre with multi-page sexfre copy, scan & sexfre faxThis sexfre printer is sexfre reliable and sexfre does a great sexfre job. It is definitely worth the sexfre money to avoid future expensive costs sexfre of fixing, replacing, and sexfre ordering more ink sexfre that might just expire or dry up before you even use it. Save yourself the future hassle, I've never had a single issue with this printer and it's going on 8 months strong currently. I'll sexfre update if I run into any issues in the future.Flexible printing. The manual sexfre feed slot offers flexible paper handling for a variety of papers and sizes, such as card stock, envelopes, etc. To sexfre help you create Professional looking documentsI sexfre was disappointed that the manual paper feed will only handle one page at a sexfre time. I use it for pay checks and would like to put sexfre several checks in the manual feed slot. Print quality is very good. It's fast sexfre and quiet. My preferred brand for computer printers. sexfre Great Quality and very User Friendly.I haven't had this printer sexfre for too long, but so sexfre far, it works pretty good. I sexfre have suffered at the hands sexfre of cheap sexfre inkjet sexfre printers from HP sexfre for sexfre years and was sick and tired of paying sexfre ridiculous prices for the stupid tiny ink cartridges that sexfre were prone to dry out and sexfre quit working if you didn't sexfre use them sexfre for months. This is my first laser printer, and I am pretty happy with sexfre it. I see sexfre a lot of people complain about sexfre toner issues and connectivity problems with these printers, and sexfre after my sexfre experience with this one, sexfre I sexfre can see how a lot sexfre of people might sexfre have a problem setting this sexfre up if sexfre they sexfre are not very tech savvy. Luckily, I am a sexfre computer wiz, sexfre so I was able to overcome sexfre most sexfre of the sexfre technical roadblocks in a sexfre timely manner. sexfre Below is quick run-down sexfre for some of the sexfre issues sexfre people might sexfre have with this type of printer and how to overcome them. The first issue someone might have right off the bat sexfre is getting sexfre it to connect to their network. The DHCP needs to be sexfre enabled and have enough addresses available to accommodate sexfre another device. Most are set sexfre up this way, sexfre but not all routers people have for their home networks are created sexfre equal, and some come set up from the sexfre factory with settings that may limit the ability for peripherals, sexfre like printers, to connect to them properly. This is especially true with equipment that is purchased used. Some people, like sexfre me :), sexfre have their router locked sexfre down so tight, that nothing can connect to it unless they sexfre want it to.There is a setting in most routers sexfre with sexfre regard to either "Set AP Isolated" sexfre or "WLAN Partition" sexfre or sexfre some sexfre other jargon, but they all sexfre serve sexfre the same purpose. That is sexfre to disable sexfre network equipment sexfre connected to the router sexfre from being able to talk to each other. This is sexfre great if you sexfre want added security on your network, but If these settings sexfre are enabled on your sexfre router, then you will never be able to sexfre print sexfre to this printer sexfre from any device connected to your network unless sexfre you are connected directly by a cable sexfre from sexfre the sexfre computer to sexfre the sexfre printer. It's a give sexfre and a take. You give up added security, but hey, sexfre at sexfre least now sexfre your can print, sexfre rightThe next mistake sexfre most sexfre people are going to sexfre make it to try to install the printer directly from Windows from the "Printers & Scanners" or from the device sexfre manager. Windows sexfre has default drivers that sexfre work with the printer and will find and install it, but you are shooting yourself in the sexfre foot sexfre right from the get-go when you do this. The reason being is that you sexfre will never be sexfre able sexfre to get to the settings and sexfre preferences that fully manage this printer, sexfre and you sexfre will not sexfre be able to find the setting that allows you to bypass the sexfre setting that makes the printer stop sexfre printing when the sexfre toner sexfre gets low. sexfre Many sexfre reviews sexfre on sexfre here complain about the toner-stop-printing issue, so this is how you sexfre fix it....Go to the Brother sexfre website and sexfre download the latest drivers sexfre for your printer and sexfre install all of sexfre the software on your computer. DO NOT use the CD that comes with the printer. It could sexfre have been sitting sexfre in a warehouse for sexfre 6 months sexfre or a year for all you sexfre know, sexfre and the drivers are probably not up to snuff. When the software sexfre installation reaches the point where you have to opportunity to update all of the sexfre software and sexfre firmware from sexfre the sexfre printer, do it. Do not skip sexfre that sexfre portion of the installation process. There is a sexfre sticker on the back sexfre of your printer with the "password" that it will sexfre ask for when sexfre you choose to remotely sexfre configure it, and within those settings, you sexfre have the wonderful option of setting the "Toner-Low" setting to "Continue" instead of "Stop". That way, you will never have sexfre to sexfre use those sexfre tricks or sequences to sexfre bypass when the printer sexfre stops printing when you sexfre still sexfre have oodles of sexfre toner left sexfre in the cartridge. sexfre Another sexfre issue that this solves sexfre is the fact that, without the software sexfre installed, you would sexfre never sexfre be able to scan documents from the sexfre scanner portion of sexfre your all-in-one printer sexfre and send them to your computer. You would be stuck with only basic sexfre print sexfre capability.I highly recommended that people also go through their settings for the sexfre printer directly at the printer itself and disable the "Auto Power Off" function altogether on the printer. It sexfre does not sexfre gobble up sexfre a million volts of electricity all the time when it's not being used. The reason I suggest this sexfre is because it sexfre will disconnect from the sexfre network and become "unavailable" for sexfre printing sexfre until you drag you carcass over sexfre to the printer and sexfre turn sexfre it back sexfre on. With sexfre the function disabled, it is sexfre always connected to your network 24-7 and will wake itself up from sexfre "sleep' sexfre and start printing a sexfre lot sexfre faster then if you had to go and sexfre turn sexfre it on every sexfre time when you haven't used it in awhile. I will update this review after a few months sexfre or sexfre add more info if sexfre I find any issues sexfre that sexfre I had to overcome.All-in-all, this is a nice little device that can print, fax, sexfre scan and copy for a sexfre pretty sexfre good price. sexfre So far, I am sexfre really enjoying the benefits of a laser printer over the junky inkjets sexfre that I have been using sexfre for so sexfre long. If you are like me and only print some stuff sexfre every now and then and are fed sexfre up with clunky sexfre inkjets, then you sexfre can't go wrong sexfre with sexfre a laser printer like this sexfre one.Dynamic features sexfre meet your sexfre evolving needs. The 250-sheet paper capacity helps improve sexfre efficiency sexfre with sexfre less sexfre refills and handles letter and legal sized paperI bought this printer in July of 2019. I have not had a single problem. I sexfre am a sole proprietor sexfre and use this for business and sexfre personal (home sexfre office). I scan more than I sexfre print but sexfre I print sexfre a fair amount. Never a sexfre jam - nothing. I've never had a printer that sexfre I sexfre could say that about. Highly recommend.Print more, wait less. sexfre Engineered for increased efficiency with class leading print speeds of up sexfre to 32 sexfre pages per sexfre minuteHave been sexfre using it for more than 2 years! Great qualityPrinting as mobile as you are. Print sexfre wireless from your desktop, laptop, smartphone and tabletThis sexfre is an older printer model and MacOS Monterey is not supported (I heard this from Brother). Its possible to sexfre make it work with a sexfre new Mac sexfre but dont waste your time looking for drivers or trying to sexfre use the included CD ROM. sexfre I got it sexfre connected by first connecting the sexfre printer to sexfre my WiFi (WLAN) and then discovering it and sexfre adding sexfre the printer in Mac Preferences. After that the printer worked well and will take sexfre much sexfre cheaper sexfre non-OEM toner cartridges. For these sexfre reasons Im keeping it, but sexfre keep in mind that youre paying a new price sexfre for an outdated printer.
