What is uk amateur bbw Audioengine A2+ Plus Wireless Speaker Bluetooth | Desktop Monitor Speakers | Home Music system aptX Bluetooth; 60W powered bookshelf stereo speakers | AUX audio, USB RCA inputs; 16-bit DAC (white) how to dress well?
WHATS INCLUDED: Pair of uk amateur bbw Audioengine uk amateur bbw A2+ Wireless uk amateur bbw Powered Speakers, 6.5ft speaker wire, uk amateur bbw power uk amateur bbw supply & cord, 5ft uk amateur bbw USB cable, 5ft mini-jack audio cable, microfiber speaker and uk amateur bbw cable bags, setup guide.PREMIUM POWERED uk amateur bbw BLUETOOTH SPEAKERS: The award-winning uk amateur bbw A2+ Wireless Speakers provide detailed, uk amateur bbw true uk amateur bbw stereo sound and can easily connect to all your uk amateur bbw music in seconds. Great for uk amateur bbw your desktop or uk amateur bbw home uk amateur bbw music setup, the extended-range uk amateur bbw Bluetooth quickly and uk amateur bbw seamlessly connects to your phone, tablet or computer up to uk amateur bbw 100ft away.I uk amateur bbw want to preface this by stating that this review does not come from the account this product was uk amateur bbw purchased under, rather uk amateur bbw a family member uk amateur bbw who shares uk amateur bbw the account.BACKGROUND/CONTEXT:I owned these speakers for a total of ~8 uk amateur bbw months. I had my uk amateur bbw first uk amateur bbw pair uk amateur bbw from July uk amateur bbw 2021 till about November 2021, which then ended up being replaced with a new pair that I owned till uk amateur bbw February. The reason these were in my possession for such a short period of time was because both speakers suffered the same uk amateur bbw fate of uk amateur bbw blowing out. These speakers also blew out at uk amateur bbw relatively low volumes on my computer (around uk amateur bbw 50% volume on Windows, and about 50% on whichever streaming application I was utilizing). uk amateur bbw Initially, I believed uk amateur bbw that my first pair had been faulty, uk amateur bbw so uk amateur bbw I ordered uk amateur bbw a replacement; however, the uk amateur bbw same exact issue occurred on my uk amateur bbw second pair, so I knew that these speakers were simply problematic for me.TL;DR: I had these speakers blow out on me twice, which is why uk amateur bbw I currently do not own them.FIRST IMPRESSIONS (Build uk amateur bbw quality uk amateur bbw and sound uk amateur bbw profile):Note: These were uk amateur bbw around $260 at the time of purchasing. These are not my current opinions. These speakers were an uk amateur bbw upgrade from uk amateur bbw the Creative uk amateur bbw Sound BlasterX Kratos S5 uk amateur bbw 2.1 Gaming Speaker, which uk amateur bbw was a muddied uk amateur bbw and lack-luster 2.1 system. At the uk amateur bbw time, uk amateur bbw however, they were average uk amateur bbw sounding uk amateur bbw to me. I uk amateur bbw wanted to upgrade to something of the same size profile that uk amateur bbw had uk amateur bbw a clearer and fuller profile. I gravitated toward the A2+, as uk amateur bbw I believed in the misconception that these were uk amateur bbw phenomenal sounding high uk amateur bbw fidelity uk amateur bbw speakers (They do not claim to be this, but certain uk amateur bbw reviews uk amateur bbw of uk amateur bbw this product facilitated uk amateur bbw that idea). I had also seen them on a multitude of setups and thought they fit aesthetic of my own. Upon uk amateur bbw opening these speakers, I was uk amateur bbw surprised by the overall weight of these, as they were uk amateur bbw relatively small. The uk amateur bbw heftiness only contributed uk amateur bbw to uk amateur bbw feeling of "premium-ness". uk amateur bbw I give props uk amateur bbw to AE uk amateur bbw for their uk amateur bbw absolutely exceptional uk amateur bbw packaging and inclusion of uk amateur bbw accessories. The setup uk amateur bbw was unique to me, as uk amateur bbw I had never used speaker wire prior uk amateur bbw to getting uk amateur bbw these. uk amateur bbw After having connected them to my computer, I uk amateur bbw was blown away by the uk amateur bbw sound. uk amateur bbw I uk amateur bbw had never owned "premium" audio equipment, uk amateur bbw so my only frame uk amateur bbw of reference uk amateur bbw was sub-par gaming speakers. These speakers felt uk amateur bbw warm, rich, uk amateur bbw and just uk amateur bbw overall clean. I even got to rehash the uk amateur bbw subwoofer uk amateur bbw from the old uk amateur bbw 2.1 uk amateur bbw system uk amateur bbw before upgrading uk amateur bbw to a uk amateur bbw Klipsch 400W 12" subwoofer (which was uk amateur bbw very much overkill for 3" desktop uk amateur bbw speakers). One thing that I initially really appreciated uk amateur bbw about uk amateur bbw the speakers uk amateur bbw were their very defined mid-range. Even uk amateur bbw as someone uk amateur bbw who was significantly uk amateur bbw less uk amateur bbw knowledgeable in audio uk amateur bbw reproduction, I was still able to appreciate the sound these speakers put out. I will not uk amateur bbw go too in depth about uk amateur bbw bass, as I had only used these speakers uk amateur bbw without a uk amateur bbw subwoofer for about a uk amateur bbw couple hours total, just know uk amateur bbw that it is fairly average for uk amateur bbw casual music listening but uk amateur bbw sub-par if you uk amateur bbw decide to utilize uk amateur bbw it uk amateur bbw for film/bass-dependent uk amateur bbw music.CURRENT PERSPECTIVE:Disregarding the uk amateur bbw fact that uk amateur bbw these uk amateur bbw had uk amateur bbw blown out on me, I currently believe these uk amateur bbw speakers uk amateur bbw are not worth the uk amateur bbw absurdly high price. Although uk amateur bbw I still believe the mid-range uk amateur bbw is warm and uk amateur bbw quite rich, both the uk amateur bbw low-end and high-end struggle to reproduce sounds nicely. This uk amateur bbw leaves you with a uk amateur bbw speaker that lacks clarity on two very crucial frequency ranges. Even after uk amateur bbw the addition of a subwoofer, the uk amateur bbw lack of uk amateur bbw EQ options uk amateur bbw on the speaker do not allow you to setup uk amateur bbw an appropriate crossfade, which in turn create bass frequencies that cancel. These speakers still uk amateur bbw look phenomenal though, and packaging is premium enough uk amateur bbw to justify a higher price tag, but not $260. For reference, as soon uk amateur bbw as I refunded my A2+, I went ahead and purchased a pair uk amateur bbw of KRK uk amateur bbw RP5 uk amateur bbw G4 Studio Monitors for the exact uk amateur bbw same price uk amateur bbw (These monitors are also fairly controversial, but I personally really enjoy their uk amateur bbw soundstage and less colored sound).WRAPPING THINGS UP (Pros and Cons):Pros:- Spectacular packaging- Additional uk amateur bbw cables uk amateur bbw that allow for multiple ways to connect to a source- Rich mid-range for uk amateur bbw small profile- Premium build quality uk amateur bbw (hefty with a clean finish)- Smaller uk amateur bbw setups will benefit from the size- Volume does get relatively loudCons:- Highs are lacking uk amateur bbw clarity- Bass uk amateur bbw is quite average uk amateur bbw from 90hz to uk amateur bbw 200hz, anything below that is uk amateur bbw quite uk amateur bbw awful without a uk amateur bbw subwoofer- The uk amateur bbw speakers do not do a uk amateur bbw great job uk amateur bbw at stereo imaging- Speakers are impossible to EQ without a 3rd party software- The price is uk amateur bbw absurd for over glorified desktop speakers- Subtle details in music uk amateur bbw get lost, making these speakers terrible for mixing/mastering (This is uk amateur bbw not uk amateur bbw what these speakers uk amateur bbw are intended for, but it uk amateur bbw is something to keep in mind)- Personally, these blew out on me twice at pretty normal listening volumes.A uk amateur bbw few uk amateur bbw notes:- I uk amateur bbw do not uk amateur bbw believe these uk amateur bbw speakers are horrible, I just uk amateur bbw think uk amateur bbw the price you pay for uk amateur bbw them is uk amateur bbw not justified.- I uk amateur bbw had uk amateur bbw a quite uk amateur bbw negative experience with uk amateur bbw them because uk amateur bbw they uk amateur bbw blew out twice, uk amateur bbw I've uk amateur bbw never uk amateur bbw seen that happen to anyone else.- uk amateur bbw If you really uk amateur bbw want something in uk amateur bbw a uk amateur bbw small package with a multitude of connection options and a uk amateur bbw sound that's fine for almost all music genres, I'd probably uk amateur bbw recommend these if you uk amateur bbw can get them for cheaper.- uk amateur bbw If you uk amateur bbw are looking for uk amateur bbw accurate sound, stop looking at uk amateur bbw high fidelity uk amateur bbw monitors and take uk amateur bbw a look at studio monitors. They tend uk amateur bbw to uk amateur bbw be in same price range uk amateur bbw (or a tad higher) but are uk amateur bbw much uk amateur bbw more sonically accurate.I read that new speakers take a few months to break in uk amateur bbw so I waited until I uk amateur bbw owned these uk amateur bbw for a while before writing this uk amateur bbw review. Ive had uk amateur bbw these for almost a uk amateur bbw year.Executive summary:I upgraded uk amateur bbw to these AudioEngine uk amateur bbw A2+ uk amateur bbw speakers from the $20 speakers uk amateur bbw Id been using since I got my desktop PC. uk amateur bbw These uk amateur bbw are so much better. uk amateur bbw These sound as good or uk amateur bbw better than any uk amateur bbw speakers uk amateur bbw Ive uk amateur bbw ever uk amateur bbw owned, even ones that are much more expensive. They are worth every penny. I have zero uk amateur bbw regrets and would recommend them to anybody. I am not an audio expert and I uk amateur bbw have not done uk amateur bbw exhaustive comparisons between these and a lot of other kinds of speakers.Details:My $20 uk amateur bbw speakers uk amateur bbw were OK but uk amateur bbw after 6 uk amateur bbw months of pandemic working-at-home I was definitely ready for uk amateur bbw a sound uk amateur bbw improvement. I read a uk amateur bbw bunch uk amateur bbw of reviews of different computer speakers. There uk amateur bbw were a uk amateur bbw lot of speakers around the uk amateur bbw $100-150 price uk amateur bbw point, but I decided to splurge on uk amateur bbw these at over uk amateur bbw $250 because uk amateur bbw the reviews were good and I uk amateur bbw figured that you uk amateur bbw get what you uk amateur bbw pay for. I have no idea whether these are better than uk amateur bbw any of the uk amateur bbw ones I didnt buy.My uk amateur bbw first take upon uk amateur bbw unboxing was that uk amateur bbw these folks care about what theyre selling. The packaging was extremely uk amateur bbw well done. uk amateur bbw Each speaker came in its own uk amateur bbw individual uk amateur bbw cloth bag, and uk amateur bbw the rest of the box was very well uk amateur bbw put together. Obviously this has nothing to do uk amateur bbw with the sound uk amateur bbw quality, uk amateur bbw but when people pay so uk amateur bbw much attention to whats on uk amateur bbw the outside, chances are pretty good that they care a lot about uk amateur bbw the insides too.The physical uk amateur bbw size of these is perfect for my limited desktop. I uk amateur bbw had considered getting the larger A5 uk amateur bbw instead and after seeing these, Im glad I didnt, they uk amateur bbw would have been uk amateur bbw much too uk amateur bbw bulky for uk amateur bbw my particular setup. uk amateur bbw The wiring setup is very easy. All inputs plug uk amateur bbw in to the left speaker and the right speaker is just a slave that connects uk amateur bbw to the right via speaker wire. The left speaker also uk amateur bbw contains uk amateur bbw all uk amateur bbw of uk amateur bbw the electronics like the Bluetooth, USB uk amateur bbw DAC, and amplifier. So it uk amateur bbw tends uk amateur bbw to run a bit warmer uk amateur bbw than the right speaker but not overly hot. uk amateur bbw They give you every uk amateur bbw cable uk amateur bbw youll need for all the different inputs.I turned them on and started listening. My music uk amateur bbw source uk amateur bbw is uk amateur bbw Amazon Music uk amateur bbw HD. They immediately sounded fantastic, but after making uk amateur bbw this investment uk amateur bbw I decided to uk amateur bbw do a bit uk amateur bbw of research and figure out how to optimize them for uk amateur bbw the uk amateur bbw best listening.First I uk amateur bbw got equalizer software for my PC. I uk amateur bbw use the uk amateur bbw APO equalizer, with uk amateur bbw the Peace GUI. This is an amazing uk amateur bbw piece of software for uk amateur bbw the price ($0), and uk amateur bbw it lets you customize uk amateur bbw just uk amateur bbw about every uk amateur bbw aspect of your sound. Everybody has different preferences, and ears with different ages, and uk amateur bbw varying sensitivities uk amateur bbw at different frequencies, and Peace/APO lets you tweak the equalization so you can get it uk amateur bbw sounding just right for you. Its a huge improvement over uk amateur bbw the flat response that a computer gives you by uk amateur bbw default, and far more capable uk amateur bbw than the equalizer that came with my uk amateur bbw sound card.Next I tilted the speakers uk amateur bbw upwards so that they uk amateur bbw point directly uk amateur bbw at my head from where theyre sitting on my desk. uk amateur bbw This made a huge uk amateur bbw difference in the mid-to-high frequencies. I ended uk amateur bbw up buying the AudioEngine DS1 speaker stands. Theyre custom fitted to the A2+ speakers and even though their angle uk amateur bbw is not adjustable, uk amateur bbw its perfect for uk amateur bbw my uk amateur bbw specific layout. This brings up the point that a PC sound uk amateur bbw system uk amateur bbw is usually used by uk amateur bbw just uk amateur bbw one person, so you can position the speakers so that your uk amateur bbw head is in the perfect sweet spot of the uk amateur bbw sound field. Of uk amateur bbw course that is possible uk amateur bbw with any PC speakers. These uk amateur bbw speakers have a bunch uk amateur bbw of different inputs, all uk amateur bbw of which can operate simultaneously. From my desktop PC uk amateur bbw I connect uk amateur bbw them to the on-board sound uk amateur bbw card uk amateur bbw via the provided 3.5mm cable. From my laptop I connect via a dedicated USB DAC that I bought because otherwise my uk amateur bbw laptop just wasnt able to produce uk amateur bbw anything like the great sound I uk amateur bbw was getting from my uk amateur bbw desktop. I knew before uk amateur bbw I bought them that they had multiple inputs but that turned out to be an uk amateur bbw unexpectedly nice feature because I uk amateur bbw can uk amateur bbw switch seamlessly between uk amateur bbw audio from both computers, and even uk amateur bbw hear sound effects uk amateur bbw from both systems at the same time when I need uk amateur bbw to. I am only using the analog inputs. uk amateur bbw I uk amateur bbw did not try the built-in uk amateur bbw Bluetooth. I did try the built-in USB DAC, and I was unable to uk amateur bbw get it to sound as good as either of my uk amateur bbw other sources.Overall uk amateur bbw the uk amateur bbw sound from uk amateur bbw these is superb - uk amateur bbw the highs are uk amateur bbw crystal clear with zero tinniness and uk amateur bbw I cant think about uk amateur bbw any aspect of the sound that Im unhappy with. One comment I uk amateur bbw see in uk amateur bbw a lot uk amateur bbw of the A2 uk amateur bbw reviews is that uk amateur bbw people think uk amateur bbw the bass is uk amateur bbw lacking. Its true that uk amateur bbw these dont uk amateur bbw thump you out of uk amateur bbw your seat like a dedicated subwoofer uk amateur bbw would, uk amateur bbw or uk amateur bbw even speakers uk amateur bbw with bigger drivers. But the bass they deliver is uk amateur bbw super clear. I can hear every nuance uk amateur bbw of uk amateur bbw a uk amateur bbw jazz bassline, and low uk amateur bbw drum beats with no problem at all. I personally have uk amateur bbw no issue with the bass on these, but if that ever uk amateur bbw changes they also have RCA outputs that can be used uk amateur bbw to drive a dedicated subwoofer if I feel like adding uk amateur bbw one uk amateur bbw some day.WARRANTY: Stellar US based customer support and 3 year product warranty is included. Buyer's experience:
1: I want to preface this by stating that this review does not come from the account this product was purchased under, rather a family member who shares the account.BACKGROUND/CONTEXT:I owned these speakers for a total of ~8 months. I had my first pair from July 2021 till about November 2021, which then ended up being replaced with a new pair that I owned till February. The reason these were in my possession for such a short period of time was because both speakers suffered the same fate of blowing out. Even as someone who was significantly less knowledgeable in audio reproduction, I was still able to appreciate the sound these speakers put out. I will not go too in depth about bass, as I had only used these speakers without a subwoofer for about a couple hours total, just know that it is fairly average for casual music listening but sub-par if you decide to utilize it for film/bass-dependent music.CURRENT PERSPECTIVE:Disregarding the fact that these had blown out on me, I currently believe these speakers are not worth the absurdly high price. Although I still believe the mid-range is warm and quite rich, both the low-end and high-end struggle to reproduce sounds nicely.
