What is xxx18 Powerpoint; Keynote, Google Slides Wireless Presenter - Black (Class 1 Laser) boyfriend likes?
These have a great xxx18 range and usually work fine. We might xxx18 have them at the edge as far as xxx18 distance, so they aren't xxx18 perfect, but overall xxx18 great. This is an excellent remote xxx18 that I xxx18 have used xxx18 several times in the past xxx18 couple of months. The only xxx18 issue I have with xxx18 this remote is that xxx18 I xxx18 cannot xxx18 use it xxx18 to xxx18 advance slides when presenting with xxx18 my iPad. Very disappointing, but xxx18 otherwise a great xxx18 product.I have used it for xxx18 several presentations xxx18 and xxx18 it works xxx18 great with my dell xxx18 laptopI've been using a simple third-party presenter that xxx18 is less xxx18 than xxx18 a fifth of the price xxx18 of xxx18 the xxx18 R800. xxx18 However, I xxx18 wanted to get a xxx18 proper reputed product with xxx18 better features and something that would give xxx18 me peace of mind on xxx18 the day of the presentation xxx18 knowing that it will work properly or the battery is xxx18 strong enough for the laser to be xxx18 bright.I've looked at xxx18 a few other competing products xxx18 in the market xxx18 and xxx18 saw that the R800 has xxx18 some xxx18 great xxx18 features and albeit the xxx18 high price tag. The price is justified the moment you start using the xxx18 it. I xxx18 considered the xxx18 R400 xxx18 as xxx18 an alternative and xxx18 decided the xxx18 R800 xxx18 is worth xxx18 the xxx18 additional pay to get the timer and alert features xxx18 especially since most xxx18 of my presentations are under 30 minutes, thus timing being crucial. I'm a Linux user and wanted something that xxx18 will work xxx18 out-of-box with it and R800 lived up to my expectations. Nothing xxx18 else other than connecting xxx18 the received to a USB port was needed for it to work. xxx18 All the xxx18 buttons works xxx18 with Linux xxx18 and some may xxx18 depend on what application you use with it.I've used the R800 so xxx18 far for xxx18 2 xxx18 presentations (and at xxx18 practice) and it worked out really well. Albeit people reporting problems with the button layout on the remote, I've had no xxx18 problems xxx18 with using the buttons or accidentally pressing the xxx18 wrong one. The green xxx18 laser is bright xxx18 enough to be clearly visible with xxx18 even lights on. The xxx18 nicest feature on the device xxx18 for xxx18 me is the timer and the vibrating alerts xxx18 that you get xxx18 at 5 minutes, xxx18 2 minutes and 0 xxx18 minutes to the end xxx18 of the presentation. The device itself is xxx18 very ergonomic and xxx18 fits well on your palm. It xxx18 has xxx18 a xxx18 nice soft touch to its feel and doesn't slip off the hand easily. The remaining-time and battery indicator xxx18 is xxx18 clear xxx18 and intuitive. As xxx18 some people point out, xxx18 it would be nice to have the display illuminate xxx18 (on-demand, which is xxx18 my preference). The xxx18 product also comes with a nice protective pouch to store the device in.As with any product, xxx18 there's xxx18 always something someone would xxx18 find as a possible improvement. Here's what I'd like xxx18 to see.*) Illuminated display. On-demand in xxx18 my case, as xxx18 I think constant illumination may act as a distraction xxx18 to the audience.*) The count-down xxx18 timer once xxx18 started, xxx18 can xxx18 only xxx18 be xxx18 paused, but not restarted. The only xxx18 way I found to restart it, is xxx18 to reset the timer to the duration and start all over again. xxx18 This feature xxx18 will xxx18 be useful when you practice a presentation and you want xxx18 to start again at some point.*) A timer only xxx18 works as a count-down timer. It xxx18 only counts-up at the end of xxx18 a presentation. xxx18 It would be nice to have a mode where the timer works as xxx18 a count-up timer as well (without any xxx18 alerts) just so that you xxx18 can get a feel of how xxx18 long something takes.*) With such xxx18 a big receiver being used, maybe a nice xxx18 feature might xxx18 be to have some solid-state storage in xxx18 it as well so that the xxx18 presentation can xxx18 be carried together with the device*) I use other Logitech products, xxx18 therefore it would be nice if this worked xxx18 with a unifying receiver. However, xxx18 it has great has some great xxx18 features xxx18 already built-in to it and anyone would definitely find it quite useful. This xxx18 is xxx18 the xxx18 best presenter out xxx18 there. The green laser xxx18 is pretty awesome and shows up in the day easily. The range xxx18 is xxx18 fantastic. My favorite feature is the timer. I had to give xxx18 presentations all summer in front xxx18 of thousands of people. I had to be exactly 7 mins. I loved that this vibrated to let me know xxx18 how xxx18 much time i had left, and I amazed people xxx18 that I was able to land perfect 7 minute xxx18 presentations xxx18 down to almost the second without using a confidence monitor or xxx18 timer on stage.I xxx18 like that this comes with a nice xxx18 carrying xxx18 case and I xxx18 also like that the usb dongle fits into the body xxx18 of the device. The xxx18 range of this blows other presenters out xxx18 of the water. I have had xxx18 range problems in the past when my computer is way in the back of xxx18 the xxx18 auditorium in the graphics booth and Im hundreds of feet away xxx18 on the stage. This xxx18 presenter xxx18 doesn't skip a beat and even xxx18 shows you your range status on the screen if you want to see xxx18 it. I xxx18 virtually never used the xxx18 screen xxx18 though. I thought xxx18 it was a little xxx18 pointless, I would almost have preferred it xxx18 was removed and they could have made the device smaller. The only bad thing about this presenter is its' size. xxx18 Its very comfortable to hold, but I wish it was xxx18 the length xxx18 of the R400, which is equally comfortable but because xxx18 of xxx18 no xxx18 screen, it is shorter and doesn't poke xxx18 out of xxx18 your hand. The ergonomics of this are designed xxx18 in xxx18 a way that it pokes out from your hand xxx18 (so you can see the xxx18 screen i suppose). The screen is xxx18 a gimmick honestly, I don't know how you xxx18 would realistically look xxx18 at this screen DURING a presentation. xxx18 There is no xxx18 backlight xxx18 and it would just be too hard xxx18 to see and xxx18 definetely too hard to xxx18 glance xxx18 at. If you do a lot of presenting you know that you have to spend 99.9% of your time looking xxx18 at the audience. Even xxx18 looking down for xxx18 2 xxx18 seconds xxx18 will xxx18 horribly distract everyone. I xxx18 usually allow myself 2 xxx18 times to glance at the confidence xxx18 monitor xxx18 during a presentation and I do it for less than xxx18 a second. I am just xxx18 making xxx18 sure xxx18 I am on the slide that xxx18 I xxx18 expect to be on. So the screen on this device would be way too distracting to actually use. Aside xxx18 from xxx18 the fact that it xxx18 would be too hard to see in the dark, you would have to xxx18 pull your xxx18 hand up to xxx18 your xxx18 face xxx18 too see it. xxx18 I can't xxx18 imagine anyone uses it.Aside from the screen which I think they should just remove, or xxx18 make it smaller and pull it lower on xxx18 the device xxx18 so I can xxx18 use xxx18 it during xxx18 setup, but not during the show. I think this is the best presenter out xxx18 there. The range and timer alone xxx18 are reason enough to get it if you do anything serious with presenting. If you present very casually, and infrequently then xxx18 it might be overkill. The R400 might xxx18 be a better xxx18 choice in that case. But if you present on a stage, xxx18 then you really need the added range, and the green laser if you xxx18 want to use this in xxx18 a large setting or auditorium.Just be careful, after a xxx18 few months, you will have a xxx18 list of xxx18 people requesting to borrow this thing for their xxx18 own presentations. Powerful xxx18 people xxx18 just say no ;-)UNIVERSAL xxx18 COMPATIBILITY xxx18 - The R500s laser xxx18 class 1 remote is optimized xxx18 to xxx18 work with Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, as well as xxx18 leading presentation software including xxx18 PowerPoint, Keynote, PDF, xxx18 Google Slides and Prezi.20 METERS OPERATING RANGE - Move and present freely xxx18 from as far xxx18 as xxx18 20 meters xxx18 away.
