What is serials driver booster WALI Single Monitor Gas Spring Desk Mount; 35 inches for Ultrawide screen; Heavy monitor arm up to 33 lbs. Fully adjustable; VESA 75 and 100 (GSM001XL); Black gift to girlfriend?
I've had my mount for serials driver booster about 5 months serials driver booster now. It's holding up a 49" G9 Odyssey. Because of the weight serials driver booster and serials driver booster bulkiness of the monitor, the final step of serials driver booster attaching the monitor and tightening the tilt was a bit awkward, and is serials driver booster best with 2 people. Very serials driver booster recently the tilt loosened serials driver booster on serials driver booster me, serials driver booster and I woke up to find serials driver booster my serials driver booster monitor facing down towards my desk. serials driver booster We tried to retighten it with the provided hex tool, but failed and had to stop before the serials driver booster bolt head got too damaged from our efforts. A trip to the hardware store serials driver booster for a serials driver booster 6mm hex adapter for our socket wrench was serials driver booster in order. serials driver booster With the proper wrench we serials driver booster were able to tighten it again serials driver booster with no further damage, and my monitor is hanging in the air very nicely.TLDR: Great monitor serials driver booster stand that handles heavy serials driver booster monitors, but best to serials driver booster use serials driver booster a proper 6mm hex tool on a good socket wrench to tighten the tilt section.Double serials driver booster Benefits: Double efficiency serials driver booster and productivity by opening serials driver booster up desk space allowing a new range of serials driver booster adaptable positions serials driver booster for your displays, ergonomically correct position to reduce neck and eye strain.Compatibility: Fits Monitors up to 35" and 33 lbs. The two-stage locking system is compatible with 0.4 to 3.3 thick desk for C-clamp and serials driver booster 0.4 to 1.9 thick desk for Grommet serials driver booster Base. When serials driver booster I purchased this arm I only serials driver booster saw one other review that serials driver booster mentioned it being used for an LG C-series 48" OLED TV. I wanted serials driver booster to leave this review to confirm that, with some fiddling, it DOES in fact work for these displays.LG CX, C1, and C2 48" displays serials driver booster are 33lbs, which this arm claims to support. I was a bit serials driver booster nervous because I also had to buy a VESA 100x100 to 300x200 adapter, serials driver booster which added to serials driver booster the serials driver booster weight. Total weight of the display serials driver booster and serials driver booster adapter was 36ish serials driver booster lbs. serials driver booster I had to tighten the gas spring serials driver booster nearly all serials driver booster the way, but this monitor arm is fully holding the weight serials driver booster of the display and serials driver booster I'm able to move and articulate serials driver booster it without issue. Two things of serials driver booster note:1. The serials driver booster actual assembly that holds the serials driver booster VESA 100x100 mount serials driver booster (and serials driver booster your monitor) and attaches to the arm is PLASTIC. It serials driver booster is a plastic tab that slides into place serials driver booster and clicks. It does make me a bit nervous, but it has seemed serials driver booster sturdy so far.2. The plastic assembly serials driver booster mentioned above does mean that the monitor + arm end up feeling a bit serials driver booster wobbly, especially for a large and serials driver booster heavy display. The plastic bit is small and serials driver booster does not serials driver booster screw in, so any flex in it is shown when the monitor kind of wobbles around. serials driver booster Luckily it's not too noticeable (and honestly better than I serials driver booster thought serials driver booster it would), serials driver booster but it's serials driver booster present. If you're looking to desk-mount an LG 48" OLED display, this will work for you!Sturdy Construction: The high-grade material gas spring serials driver booster arm serials driver booster can be serials driver booster extended and retracted, +45/-45 tilt serials driver booster and +90/-90 swivel to change reading angles, and serials driver booster 180 rotate from landscape to portrait mode.I'm using this serials driver booster with a 26 pound, 44" display. It supports it well. I believe the maximum allowable weight is 33 serials driver booster pounds serials driver booster (about 15kg). It serials driver booster gets the job done, and it offers both temporary serials driver booster clamp attachment (which I'm using) and permanent grommet-and-backplate attachment (which entails drilling a hole through your desk).Using this monitor serials driver booster arm serials driver booster has reduced the serials driver booster required desk real serials driver booster estate serials driver booster for my monitor serials driver booster from nearly 2 serials driver booster square feet serials driver booster of serials driver booster space to about, umm. serials driver booster nine square serials driver booster inches Recommended heartily if serials driver booster you've serials driver booster got a monster of serials driver booster a serials driver booster display you serials driver booster want to use AND it has VESA serials driver booster mounting hardware serials driver booster either included or available serials driver booster for it.This is serials driver booster an excellent monitor arm. Set up serials driver booster was very simple serials driver booster and it came w/ the allen wrenches needed serials driver booster to serials driver booster adjust and set up serials driver booster the arm. The base of the arm serials driver booster also has slots to store the serials driver booster allen wrenches, serials driver booster which serials driver booster is very serials driver booster handy as you don't need serials driver booster to serials driver booster go find the right size allen wrenches when serials driver booster you want to serials driver booster make adjustments weeks or months later. The serials driver booster pressure adjustment of serials driver booster the arm allows serials driver booster you to set it according to the weight of the monitor. It serials driver booster also has good serials driver booster tilt adjustments that are easy to set. I've had my 32" LG monitor hanging on this arm serials driver booster for months now and serials driver booster it has not shifted or serials driver booster drooped serials driver booster or serials driver booster had any issues at serials driver booster all. I like serials driver booster the desktop space freed serials driver booster up by not having the monitor serials driver booster sitting on a table serials driver booster top stand. The arm serials driver booster is serials driver booster smoothly finished serials driver booster and painted and feels like a very serials driver booster high serials driver booster quality, well made product. serials driver booster There serials driver booster are no rough or unfinished edges and the serials driver booster cable management works well providing serials driver booster ample space to serials driver booster route the power cable and other cables along the serials driver booster bottom serials driver booster of the arm. Highly serials driver booster recommended!I bought serials driver booster this based on serials driver booster other reviews. The only serials driver booster known mount option for the G9 Odyssey costs $400. I serials driver booster bought this mount as serials driver booster opened box for $70 making it quite the cost difference between the serials driver booster two choices. For other odyssey owners out there serials driver booster this serials driver booster mount will cover your needs, the reviews serials driver booster are serials driver booster accurate. However you will need to follow a couple quick steps. Before mounting the serials driver booster monitor, serials driver booster assemble serials driver booster the arms together on your desk. Be careful not serials driver booster to lose the little metal tabs between the arm shrouds they fall out easily when you serials driver booster take the arms apart later. serials driver booster Next take the provided tool and spend serials driver booster a minute serials driver booster rotating the middle serials driver booster of the arm serials driver booster adjustment screw serials driver booster towards the + serials driver booster symbol. You will serials driver booster question if the bolt serials driver booster will fall out from serials driver booster the amount of turns serials driver booster needed. serials driver booster Doing serials driver booster this is required or the gas piston won't hold serials driver booster up serials driver booster the monitor! serials driver booster Next the problem child serials driver booster of this mount is the vertical up/down tilt at the serials driver booster end of serials driver booster the serials driver booster arm. serials driver booster The included serials driver booster bolt won't hold the serials driver booster odyssey up and serials driver booster its a pain serials driver booster to deal with when the monitor serials driver booster is mounted. serials driver booster So trash it. Now take the heavy serials driver booster piston arm serials driver booster to your garage or hardware serials driver booster store. I serials driver booster found that serials driver booster a 13mm bolt serials driver booster head fit the hole and threads. Add serials driver booster a serials driver booster washer on serials driver booster both sides followed by a castle nut. You serials driver booster will need serials driver booster two 13mm wrenches or socket serials driver booster wrench to tighten the serials driver booster new bolt serials driver booster down, it won't take much pressure. Next reattach the serials driver booster arm onto the mount, without the monitor. Use a level or eyeball it serials driver booster to tighten it down evenly leaving the tilt at 0 degrees. Though it might be best to tilt it back serials driver booster or upwards 10 serials driver booster degrees due to how serials driver booster the arm mounts into the monitor bracket. Lastly serials driver booster mount the back plate to your monitor and attach the piston arm. If serials driver booster you're serials driver booster mildly strong serials driver booster pick up serials driver booster the monitor with the screen serials driver booster facing you then drop serials driver booster it serials driver booster into the serials driver booster mount on the serials driver booster desk. Really it's a two person job! If the monitor is tilted incorrectly you are going to serials driver booster need a friend serials driver booster to serials driver booster hold it or adjust it serials driver booster as serials driver booster you tighten/loosen the new bolt again, a major pain. I serials driver booster had serials driver booster it serials driver booster sitting on serials driver booster the desk and it serials driver booster was a thirty minute fight serials driver booster trying serials driver booster to get the tilt serials driver booster right. serials driver booster Turns out the serials driver booster mount serials driver booster itself on the arm tilts forward about 10 degrees making serials driver booster the monitor tilt down a little. Ughh just bring a friend serials driver booster the tilt serials driver booster adjustment is serials driver booster an all or nothing ordeal. Too Loose the monitor flips down and serials driver booster too tight it won't serials driver booster budge. serials driver booster It was terrible juggling this thing with serials driver booster tools in hand with this heavy thing... And that's serials driver booster all serials driver booster the extra work you need to serials driver booster do! Tighten serials driver booster the piston adjustment bolt towards the + and serials driver booster buy a new serials driver booster bolt for the vertical tilt.Oh pro tip: test without the serials driver booster monitor serials driver booster attached sitting down and see if serials driver booster you serials driver booster like the placement. Originally I had mine mounted center on the desk and well that didnt work at all. Now serials driver booster its off center to the serials driver booster right. Also use the included serials driver booster package foam to serials driver booster check serials driver booster clearences. I balanced the foam on the end serials driver booster of the arm and it worked great as a reference piece. As for mount itself, serials driver booster the mounting plate included serials driver booster does fit serials driver booster the odssey's metal cup serials driver booster plate, use the serials driver booster included black screws with a serials driver booster screw driver. Just be serials driver booster sure to tighten serials driver booster "everything" down. Don't serials driver booster skimp on this or serials driver booster locktight if you have it. Overall everything is thick aluminum or serials driver booster cast aluminum serials driver booster so serials driver booster its solid metal. The pressure plates are serials driver booster thick steel and serials driver booster well painted. Everything fit together without serials driver booster any extra work. The desk pressure plate is serials driver booster only held on top of serials driver booster rear serials driver booster vertical bolts serials driver booster by gravity. Its very jank but serials driver booster works the part when tightened. serials driver booster The serials driver booster plastic cable covers were a pain but doable. The biggest gripe serials driver booster I have is the janky L bracket. There are four thick screws holding serials driver booster it together and serials driver booster its not serials driver booster flush or a perfect 90 serials driver booster degrees in the back. So if your serials driver booster desk is serials driver booster against a serials driver booster wall like mine, serials driver booster it won't be serials driver booster the most ideal... I didnt add the serials driver booster plastic serials driver booster cover serials driver booster to save serials driver booster on an extra half serials driver booster inch clearence serials driver booster against serials driver booster the serials driver booster wall. I really dislike the screws on serials driver booster the serials driver booster L bracket. I had two serials driver booster of them serials driver booster strip out with mild serials driver booster pressure. serials driver booster In the serials driver booster future I'm going to redrill the holes and serials driver booster add proper serials driver booster bolts to secure it.The extra serials driver booster added effort was serials driver booster worth serials driver booster saving $300 over the serials driver booster other expensive option. I'll update this review if anything serials driver booster changes. For serials driver booster better or worse.Adjust: easily with quick detach VESA serials driver booster plate and serials driver booster hide messy wires serials driver booster with built-in cable management. So Ive got one of those annoyingly serials driver booster large Samsung serials driver booster curve monitors serials driver booster and it weighs serials driver booster in serials driver booster the neighborhood of 40 serials driver booster pounds, serials driver booster this arm holds it like a champ. Its definitely worth getting serials driver booster if youre on the fence about it.Package includes: serials driver booster 1 serials driver booster x WALI serials driver booster Gas serials driver booster Spring serials driver booster Single Monitor Desk Mount (Black), Mounting Hardware Kit, serials driver booster User serials driver booster Manual, experienced and friendly US based customer support serials driver booster available to assist 7 days a week.

Buyer's experience:
1: I bought this based on other reviews. The only known mount option for the G9 Odyssey costs $400. Be careful not to lose the little metal tabs between the arm shrouds they fall out easily when you take the arms apart later. Next take the provided tool and spend a minute rotating the middle of the arm adjustment screw towards the + symbol. You will question if the bolt will fall out from the amount of turns needed. Doing this is required or the gas piston won't hold up the monitor! Next the problem child of this mount is the vertical up/down tilt at the end of the arm. The included bolt won't hold the odyssey up and its a pain to deal with when the monitor is mounted. So trash it. Now take the heavy piston arm to your garage or hardware store. I found that a 13mm bolt head fit the hole and threads. Add a washer on both sides followed by a castle nut. I didnt add the plastic cover to save on an extra half inch clearence against the wall. I really dislike the screws on the L bracket. I had two of them strip out with mild pressure. In the future I'm going to redrill the holes and add proper bolts to secure it.The extra added effort was worth saving $300 over the other expensive option. I'll update this review if anything changes. For better or worse.
2: I've had my mount for about 5 months now. It's holding up a 49" G9 Odyssey. Because of the weight and bulkiness of the monitor, the final step of attaching the monitor and tightening the tilt was a bit awkward, and is best with 2 people. Very recently the tilt loosened on me, and I woke up to find my monitor facing down towards my desk. We tried to retighten it with the provided hex tool, but failed and had to stop before the bolt head got too damaged from our efforts. A trip to the hardware store for a 6mm hex adapter for our socket wrench was in order. With the proper wrench we were able to tighten it again with no further damage, and my monitor is hanging in the air very nicely.TLDR: Great monitor stand that handles heavy monitors, but best to use a proper 6mm hex tool on a good socket wrench to tighten the tilt section.
3: This is an excellent monitor arm. Set up was very simple and it came w/ the allen wrenches needed to adjust and set up the arm. The base of the arm also has slots to store the allen wrenches, which is very handy as you don't need to go find the right size allen wrenches when you want to make adjustments weeks or months later. The pressure adjustment of the arm allows you to set it according to the weight of the monitor. It also has good tilt adjustments that are easy to set. I've had my 32" LG monitor hanging on this arm for months now and it has not shifted or drooped or had any issues at all. I like the desktop space freed up by not having the monitor sitting on a table top stand. The arm is smoothly finished and painted and feels like a very high quality, well made product. There are no rough or unfinished edges and the cable management works well providing ample space to route the power cable and other cables along the bottom of the arm. Highly recommended!
4: When I purchased this arm I only saw one other review that mentioned it being used for an LG C-series 48" OLED TV. I wanted to leave this review to confirm that, with some fiddling, it DOES in fact work for these displays.LG CX, C1, and C2 48" displays are 33lbs, which this arm claims to support. I was a bit nervous because I also had to buy a VESA 100x100 to 300x200 adapter, which added to the weight. Total weight of the display and adapter was 36ish lbs. I had to tighten the gas spring nearly all the way, but this monitor arm is fully holding the weight of the display and I'm able to move and articulate it without issue. Two things of note:1. The actual assembly that holds the VESA 100x100 mount (and your monitor) and attaches to the arm is PLASTIC. It is a plastic tab that slides into place and clicks. It does make me a bit nervous, but it has seemed sturdy so far.2. The plastic assembly mentioned above does mean that the monitor + arm end up feeling a bit wobbly, especially for a large and heavy display. The plastic bit is small and does not screw in, so any flex in it is shown when the monitor kind of wobbles around. Luckily it's not too noticeable (and honestly better than I thought it would), but it's present. If you're looking to desk-mount an LG 48" OLED display, this will work for you!
5: I'm using this with a 26 pound, 44" display. It supports it well. I believe the maximum allowable weight is 33 pounds (about 15kg). It gets the job done, and it offers both temporary clamp attachment (which I'm using) and permanent grommet-and-backplate attachment (which entails drilling a hole through your desk).Using this monitor arm has reduced the required desk real estate for my monitor from nearly 2 square feet of space to about, umm. nine square inches Recommended heartily if you've got a monster of a display you want to use AND it has VESA mounting hardware either included or available for it.
6: So Ive got one of those annoyingly large Samsung curve monitors and it weighs in the neighborhood of 40 pounds, this arm holds it like a champ. Its definitely worth getting if youre on the fence about it.
