What is pashtoxxx Microphone for video calling in Microsoft Teams/Zoom; light preparation, Noise-canceling microphone with USB connection with universal attachment base; Microsoft LifeCam HD-3000 for embedded business gift for wife?
16:9 Widescreen - For cinematic video recording.Universal pashtoxxx Attachment Base - Work pashtoxxx on your pashtoxxx desktop, laptop, or notebook.Better than pashtoxxx expected. Very pashtoxxx good response time, no lagging, pashtoxxx videos seems smooth.Worked very pashtoxxx well even on situations where I am in a dim place with backlight reaching the pashtoxxx camera lens: somehow it pashtoxxx adjusts pashtoxxx itself automatically and pashtoxxx gives us a very decent imageIt worked fine for about 6-8 weeks on a once per week pashtoxxx 45 minute per session pashtoxxx basis. Then it just stopped working altogether. So I basically got to use this camera just over a half pashtoxxx dozen times for a total pashtoxxx of 5.5 hours at a cost of pashtoxxx just pashtoxxx over $6/hr. What a bargain. Now I have pashtoxxx to go through pashtoxxx the aggravation of pashtoxxx contacting pashtoxxx the manufacturer on their customer service number in pashtoxxx the hopes that leads to a free replacement. We all know how much pashtoxxx fun thats pashtoxxx going to be.Buy something else. This pashtoxxx webcam pashtoxxx is a piece of crap pashtoxxx thatll only pashtoxxx lead to you wasting your pashtoxxx valuable time and/or your money.Update: pashtoxxx I called the 800 number and it pashtoxxx went as expected. I pashtoxxx went through the pashtoxxx automated pashtoxxx system only to be told by that system several minutes in that I am not able to pashtoxxx speak with an actual person about defective devices. It told me to pashtoxxx go to the web link pashtoxxx so pashtoxxx I can file a defective item claim. pashtoxxx And when I pashtoxxx click pashtoxxx on pashtoxxx the provided link I pashtoxxx get PAGE NOT FOUND.Again, dont pashtoxxx waste your time or money on this webcam. Its pashtoxxx crap. And pashtoxxx theres no way to replace it when pashtoxxx you learn pashtoxxx that lesson after the 30 day pashtoxxx Amazon replacement window expires.Clear, pashtoxxx High Quality VideoWanted a camera pashtoxxx to use with a multiple monitor laptop pashtoxxx which I pashtoxxx keep to the left so on video conference calls my camera pashtoxxx is always to pashtoxxx the side. Literally plugged this camera pashtoxxx in and it worked with Teams, no configuration required.True 720p HD Video - Post true HD video to pashtoxxx online video pashtoxxx sites.First, know that this is a TINY piece of electronic equipment. It's about the size of a watch - with the camera itself the watch face, pashtoxxx and pashtoxxx the flexible pashtoxxx monitor pashtoxxx attachment the watch pashtoxxx band. That pashtoxxx surprised me.Second, you'd better hope the picture quality is what you want as pashtoxxx it comes pashtoxxx out of pashtoxxx the box pashtoxxx - for there's no way to effectively access pashtoxxx the camera settings and pashtoxxx adjust things like color, saturation, pashtoxxx etc. True, it's plug-and-play, and that part worked well (with Windows 10), pashtoxxx but when the camera came on, my face was redder than that Disney dwarf no one pashtoxxx can remember when asked to pashtoxxx name all pashtoxxx seven. pashtoxxx And pashtoxxx there was pashtoxxx no way pashtoxxx to correct pashtoxxx it.[After a LOT of research online, I finally found a "hack" - namely, making the adjustments via Microsoft's pashtoxxx Skype app, and then hoping they'll apply and hold with pashtoxxx the webcam. Semi-success. The color pashtoxxx improved, but not pashtoxxx enough, and I'm pashtoxxx not pashtoxxx sure pashtoxxx how long it will pashtoxxx last, e.g., after pashtoxxx a reboot.]Finally, as other reviewers have noted, pashtoxxx the onboard mic is not great, producing audio pashtoxxx that sounds like it was recorded pashtoxxx in Captain Nemo's "Nautilus" sub (2nd Disney reference!).I pashtoxxx guess what I'm pashtoxxx saying is, you pashtoxxx get what you pashtoxxx pay for. If you don't expect too much, you pashtoxxx may pashtoxxx be satisfied pashtoxxx with the Microsoft LifeCam HD-3000.But if you're really going to pashtoxxx use a webcam pashtoxxx for any pashtoxxx important task, or pashtoxxx substantial length pashtoxxx of pashtoxxx time, I'd pashtoxxx look into buying something higher pashtoxxx up on pashtoxxx the evolutionary scale. In other pashtoxxx words:This pashtoxxx webcam pashtoxxx provides just pashtoxxx the (3rd!) "Bare Necessities".Noise Cancelling Microphone pashtoxxx - Crystal-clear pashtoxxx audio and built-in unidirectional microphone with acoustic pashtoxxx noise cancellation.Well pashtoxxx packaged. pashtoxxx Easy pashtoxxx to use. Had no problems. Would buy pashtoxxx again and can recommend. Mounts easily to top pashtoxxx of monitor or as a stand alone at the bottom of pashtoxxx my pashtoxxx monitor on the desk. A bit pashtoxxx light and wobbly pashtoxxx when using its own stand pashtoxxx - recommend a small weight.Perfect quality pashtoxxx and very small designI pashtoxxx got pashtoxxx this as I pashtoxxx need pashtoxxx a new pashtoxxx camera for streaming off my pashtoxxx Xbox X. This does works for pashtoxxx the pashtoxxx Xbox X/S if you pashtoxxx need one. pashtoxxx I pashtoxxx actually had to look up on the Microsoft website which pashtoxxx cameras would work for it and this was one pashtoxxx of them listed. pashtoxxx Plus its pashtoxxx one of the cheaper options and totally worth pashtoxxx it. I even pashtoxxx use pashtoxxx it for doing YouTube videos as well.I purchased pashtoxxx four of these cameras from Amazon to pashtoxxx use pashtoxxx for pashtoxxx my business opening pashtoxxx for security and promotional purposes. pashtoxxx These pashtoxxx were pashtoxxx to be used on three computers throughout the pashtoxxx property and based upon on the pashtoxxx feedback and reviews pashtoxxx that I studied, pashtoxxx all compatibility issues seemed pashtoxxx a go.When pashtoxxx the package arrived it pashtoxxx was in one big pashtoxxx unmarked pashtoxxx box with no return pashtoxxx address, pashtoxxx whatsoever. (I thought it might pashtoxxx be one of my late shipments I receive sometimes from an outside country ()).. How odd pashtoxxx is it that pashtoxxx products sent pashtoxxx by or from pashtoxxx Microsoft are not pashtoxxx released pashtoxxx in authorized, manufactured pre-boxed pashtoxxx units pashtoxxx from Microsoft - even from a pashtoxxx professional pashtoxxx standpoint...Hmmm. Anyway, after realizing pashtoxxx nothing but the cameras pashtoxxx were in pashtoxxx the box, I contacted pashtoxxx the distributer (AV House) and was told to check the Microsoft pashtoxxx website for any downloads needed or pashtoxxx they would accept a pashtoxxx return. pashtoxxx Goody - I get to download and order cords and needed equipment for this, with nothing to pashtoxxx go on. After many hours of research and pashtoxxx post following, I found that pashtoxxx it is quite pashtoxxx common pashtoxxx for these pashtoxxx devices to arrive like they were just pashtoxxx swiped from an alley, so pashtoxxx be prepared to receive the pashtoxxx same customer service perks along with that! No product pashtoxxx support from any end whatsoever here. - maddening!I pashtoxxx now have pashtoxxx spent three days of exhausting research through bewildering pashtoxxx threads, multiple downloads and a demonic release (crashed once), pashtoxxx in effort to connect this one LifeCam camera to my Windows 8.1 laptop pashtoxxx with no success. Microsoft pashtoxxx website pashtoxxx is lax with posting any information or download updates and further frustrates their already struggling Windows 8 - 8.1 customers by doing nothing to squelch rumors that pashtoxxx say these cameras pashtoxxx are even pashtoxxx compatible with it. Other sites selling pashtoxxx LifeCam HD-3000's are stating these cameras ARE compatible pashtoxxx with pashtoxxx 8. So many pashtoxxx misleads, expense and pashtoxxx time already into this and my pashtoxxx opening looks to be on hold now to the next millennium. I'll up the stars for the cameras if I pashtoxxx ever pashtoxxx get them working, but Microsoft, pashtoxxx their OS system and their pashtoxxx product support service pashtoxxx on pashtoxxx every level pashtoxxx is all around, by pashtoxxx far, pashtoxxx a pashtoxxx Big Fat pashtoxxx Zero.UPDATE: 4/27/2014: I installed a Windows 7 driver pashtoxxx instead pashtoxxx of a Windows 8 driver and the program WORKED.Here's how installed LifeCam hd-3000's on Windows 8.1:Install Windows Live Essentials (the whole package)Install pashtoxxx Windows 7 driver for Lifecam cameraMake sure you get these off of Microsoft Website! These pashtoxxx cameras were pashtoxxx installed on pashtoxxx 2 Acer pashtoxxx Laptops (same model: pashtoxxx one a pashtoxxx new pashtoxxx 8.1, one Windows XP and a Del Windows 7 - - the Acer with the XP pashtoxxx and the Del 7 downloaded flawlessly. pashtoxxx Once pashtoxxx again, Windows 8 is at the bottom of another, and yet another should have been simple/time consuming/hair pashtoxxx pulling/fiasco.The CAMERAS ARE GREAT - CLEAR AND SMOOTH pashtoxxx when finally configured right with pashtoxxx Windows pashtoxxx 8, pashtoxxx but I still pashtoxxx have pashtoxxx not been able to get all pashtoxxx three to work on pashtoxxx one system to pashtoxxx show on my mobile like originally planned. I'm seriously thinking now pashtoxxx replacing my pashtoxxx new Windows 8 pashtoxxx laptop with a Macintosh or having 7 installed on my new 8.1. pashtoxxx (Yes, I'm that pashtoxxx fed). I pashtoxxx now need to put pashtoxxx a final end to this whole tragic Windows 8 evolution pashtoxxx altogether along with all it's OTHER existing issues pashtoxxx and problems that have been accumulating with this unrelenting program, start a support group and pashtoxxx move on. I know, Macs are not compatible with pashtoxxx Lifecams, so I'll have pashtoxxx to pashtoxxx start a new chapter, another pashtoxxx thread, rinse and repeat with pashtoxxx hopefully, pashtoxxx a pashtoxxx better outcome.
