What is teacher and student x video MOUNTUP Single Monitor Stands, Freestanding VESA Monitor Desk Mount Adjustable height from 13 to 32 inches; rotatable Harp can rotate VESA 75x75 100x100 MU0023 gift for wife?
The stand is initially teacher and student x video annoying to adjust to the proper teacher and student x video height that you want teacher and student x video and the amount teacher and student x video of force needed teacher and student x video to tighten the teacher and student x video screw so the monitor is not always tilting down is concerning, once teacher and student x video it was put together it feels sturdy enough. It's not easy to adjust teacher and student x video the height very much and the base is huge compared to other teacher and student x video first-party mounts teacher and student x video but it was teacher and student x video an upgrade over teacher and student x video using books teacher and student x video to teacher and student x video make teacher and student x video my monitor taller.Overall the teacher and student x video assembly went smoothly *until* the last step. The mounting teacher and student x video bracket wasn't properly threaded teacher and student x video to receive teacher and student x video the thumbscrew while attaching the monitor/plate. I was able to teacher and student x video get the thumbscrew in about teacher and student x video half way (1st pic), teacher and student x video basically tapping teacher and student x video out the threads myself.I teacher and student x video couldn't leave it like this as it would result in teacher and student x video the monitor flopping around during tilt / rotate. :-(Finally I noticed some of the teacher and student x video other teacher and student x video provided screws had the teacher and student x video same teacher and student x video thread teacher and student x video pattern as the thumbscrew.I used M-C (2nd pic) and a screwdriver to get the large teacher and student x video amount of torque teacher and student x video needed to create the teacher and student x video proper teacher and student x video threads in the teacher and student x video receiving teacher and student x video bracket (3rd pic). Then teacher and student x video I removed that screw, and was able to use the thumbscrew with a teacher and student x video reasonable amount of teacher and student x video effort at secure the monitor/plate to the teacher and student x video stand bracket.Except for the effort teacher and student x video required teacher and student x video to tighten the bolt that controls the ease teacher and student x video of adjustment in the teacher and student x video tilt, this is a very teacher and student x video nice monitor teacher and student x video stand for the price.ProsNicely coatedVery stableProperly weighted baseGood instructionsTools includedConsTilt requires extreme effort teacher and student x video (consider using a finer thread on the bolt and teacher and student x video nut)Provided Philips screwdriver too large for teacher and student x video smaller VESA screwsFLEXIBLE SCREEN POSITION -Thanks to the adjustable bracket,it offer teacher and student x video +/-45 tilts,+/-45 swivels, teacher and student x video +/- 180 rotations and teacher and student x video adjustable height up to 18.3" to fit different sitting position. VESA stand teacher and student x video supports a portrait or teacher and student x video landscape shapes that you couldmove teacher and student x video yourmonitor horizontally and teacher and student x video vertically.Product was so easy to set up/installI was really looking forward to using this item. The mount that my monitor came with didn't fit within the shelves on my desk. Tried to solve that issue by teacher and student x video purchasing this adjustable mount. teacher and student x video While it teacher and student x video is easy to put teacher and student x video together and looks nice, teacher and student x video the tilt mount will teacher and student x video not tighten teacher and student x video for teacher and student x video whatever reason. I now have teacher and student x video a teacher and student x video floppy monitor even though teacher and student x video I've been tightening the tilt teacher and student x video mount teacher and student x video and getting nowhere. Wish I hadn't teacher and student x video missed the return teacher and student x video window or else this would be going back.EASY TO teacher and student x video ASSEMBLE - teacher and student x video Mounting your monitor is a simple process, slide monitor with VESA plate teacher and student x video onto the mounting bracket and then the monitor can be adjusted anywhere along the length. Come teacher and student x video with instruction manual, necessary hardware and tools teacher and student x video for easy assembly. This is a sturdy stand but the base is is so teacher and student x video big! All teacher and student x video I could think of is teacher and student x video it looks like teacher and student x video a big clown shoe. Its about 11 inches long teacher and student x video in both directions and teacher and student x video about 15 inches in width, vs a monitors standard teacher and student x video base which is usually about 7.5 to 8 inches teacher and student x video long. If teacher and student x video you have the teacher and student x video space for it, I recommend it but teacher and student x video is way too big for my space.Very pleased teacher and student x video with this stand. Using for a 22" thin monitor on my desk. Adjustments are fine and it is made of metal. teacher and student x video No teacher and student x video fear of tipping teacher and student x video and a teacher and student x video great teacher and student x video price. teacher and student x video No question i would buy again.EFFICIENT WORKSPACE - Raising your monitor to teacher and student x video a demand height, teacher and student x video freeing teacher and student x video up teacher and student x video your desk space. Built-in a cable management teacher and student x video clip for teacher and student x video tidy teacher and student x video power organized and tool slot for wrench teacher and student x video storage, teacher and student x video keeping your cable clean and making your teacher and student x video workplace clutter-free.ERGONOMIC DESIGN - The teacher and student x video screen monitor stand can be flexibly adjusted teacher and student x video for the different teacher and student x video angle to meet your eye teacher and student x video level and posture, releasing the strain on your teacher and student x video neck, shoulder and eyes.HEAVY-DUTY FREESTANDING teacher and student x video MONITOR teacher and student x video STAND teacher and student x video - Made of strong durable steel material, this solid teacher and student x video base is teacher and student x video heavy and wide teacher and student x video enough to lift up teacher and student x video and teacher and student x video tilt a monitor weighting up to 17.6lbs teacher and student x video and teacher and student x video Max VESA 100x100mm,prevent your monitor from tipping or falling. My old stand was flimsy plastic and broken. This was pretty easy teacher and student x video to put together. It does what it was designed to do and with the exception of the screen drooping because they apparently did not put in the teacher and student x video wrench teacher and student x video to teacher and student x video the bolt teacher and student x video that needs teacher and student x video to be tightened for the TV teacher and student x video to NOT droop. teacher and student x video It drooped. There is a teacher and student x video place for teacher and student x video a 3rd teacher and student x video wrench teacher and student x video even though teacher and student x video it teacher and student x video was NOT in the box. I tried to teacher and student x video get teacher and student x video a closeup where there is teacher and student x video a teacher and student x video place on the stand teacher and student x video for teacher and student x video that 3rd wrench! I was teacher and student x video "miffed" to teacher and student x video say the least. It teacher and student x video was teacher and student x video a sturdy base. I did not want to send teacher and student x video it back. The next one I got might be teacher and student x video flimsy like the teacher and student x video old one I was replacing. (I teacher and student x video was teacher and student x video tired of propping up my TV. teacher and student x video It was either that or tilting teacher and student x video your head while teacher and student x video you watched teacher and student x video TV teacher and student x video and get a crick in teacher and student x video your neck) The teacher and student x video following teacher and student x video is teacher and student x video what I did teacher and student x video to fix mine. teacher and student x video I am not recommending it to anyone. I don't watch much TV teacher and student x video so, teacher and student x video my TV teacher and student x video shouldn't get "Hot" teacher and student x video And hopefully, the foil will act as an antenna and heat deterrent. And teacher and student x video if it doesn't and my house burns teacher and student x video down I will teacher and student x video sue the company for not including that darned little wrench that teacher and student x video made teacher and student x video this adaptation necessary! That said; teacher and student x video I took the cardboard box teacher and student x video it came in, teacher and student x video cut, shaped, and teacher and student x video then wrapped it in tape and heavy foil (Sorry, no pics of tape or foil) and teacher and student x video then covered it in pretty drawer teacher and student x video paper, teacher and student x video and teacher and student x video after I teacher and student x video cut the box to the height and thickness I needed to get the TV teacher and student x video at teacher and student x video the angle teacher and student x video I needed and where I wanted my teacher and student x video TV teacher and student x video set angled teacher and student x video to. "Done!" I love it teacher and student x video now! teacher and student x video 5 stars for how sturdy teacher and student x video it is. teacher and student x video 4 each for the others teacher and student x video and teacher and student x video causing me extra work. And teacher and student x video you guys NEED to pack teacher and student x video that third wrench! teacher and student x video Shame on teacher and student x video you. Still worth it.

Buyer's experience:
1: This is a sturdy stand but the base is is so big! All I could think of is it looks like a big clown shoe. Its about 11 inches long in both directions and about 15 inches in width, vs a monitors standard base which is usually about 7.5 to 8 inches long. If you have the space for it, I recommend it but is way too big for my space.
2: Except for the effort required to tighten the bolt that controls the ease of adjustment in the tilt, this is a very nice monitor stand for the price.ProsNicely coatedVery stableProperly weighted baseGood instructionsTools includedConsTilt requires extreme effort (consider using a finer thread on the bolt and nut)Provided Philips screwdriver too large for smaller VESA screws
3: Product was so easy to set up/install
4: Overall the assembly went smoothly *until* the last step. The mounting bracket wasn't properly threaded to receive the thumbscrew while attaching the monitor/plate. I was able to get the thumbscrew in about half way (1st pic), basically tapping out the threads myself.I couldn't leave it like this as it would result in the monitor flopping around during tilt / rotate. :-(Finally I noticed some of the other provided screws had the same thread pattern as the thumbscrew.I used M-C (2nd pic) and a screwdriver to get the large amount of torque needed to create the proper threads in the receiving bracket (3rd pic).       5: My old stand was flimsy plastic and broken. This was pretty easy to put together. It does what it was designed to do and with the exception of the screen drooping because they apparently did not put in the wrench to the bolt that needs to be tightened for the TV to NOT droop.       6: Very pleased with this stand. Using for a 22" thin monitor on my desk. Adjustments are fine and it is made of metal. No fear of tipping and a great price. No question i would buy again.
7: I was really looking forward to using this item. The mount that my monitor came with didn't fit within the shelves on my desk. Tried to solve that issue by purchasing this adjustable mount. While it is easy to put together and looks nice, the tilt mount will not tighten for whatever reason. I now have a floppy monitor even though I've been tightening the tilt mount and getting nowhere.
