NVME upgrade from a sata based solid state drive (SSD) in nvme enabled PC or MAC computers for super xvideo xxx.com fast OS boot times xvideo xxx.com and application xvideo xxx.com loadsTengan cuidado y revisen bien sus placa xvideo xxx.com base, en mi caso me confi xvideo xxx.com en un programa xvideo xxx.com que me deca que admita pci-express, xvideo xxx.com pero luego de presentar la xvideo xxx.com queja y el reclamo, me dijeron que lo permita xvideo xxx.com pero en la xvideo xxx.com versin baja, y por esto es que genera xvideo xxx.com cuello de botella, una lastima que no pueda manejar mi xvideo xxx.com ssd al 100%, xvideo xxx.com pero es lo que se tiene, en general xvideo xxx.com muy xvideo xxx.com buen producto, he estado con este xvideo xxx.com ya 2 meses y xvideo xxx.com ni xvideo xxx.com un xvideo xxx.com problema. The xvideo xxx.com NVME pcie gen 3x4 interface delivers exceptional performance xvideo xxx.com of upto xvideo xxx.com 3,500mb/s seq; Read and 3,000mb/s seq; xvideo xxx.com Write speedsI first received the xvideo xxx.com hard drive today to use in an xvideo xxx.com enclosure. I know PNY says they don't support xvideo xxx.com use with an enclosure, xvideo xxx.com but I decided to go ahead and give it a try anyway xvideo xxx.com and xvideo xxx.com worst case scenario I have another M.2 xvideo xxx.com slot on my motherboard. Right xvideo xxx.com now, it is xvideo xxx.com THE fastest drive in the house using the USB-C connection, with xvideo xxx.com only one xvideo xxx.com exception. It doesn't accept xvideo xxx.com connection to xvideo xxx.com my 4 year old xvideo xxx.com motorola android phone but I xvideo xxx.com didn't expect xvideo xxx.com it too xvideo xxx.com (it just would have been a huge bonus to xvideo xxx.com have NVME be usable with phone - but definitely not worth docking a point for in my use case). YMMV.Overall, it was very fast at a WINDOWS (I consider this important) write speed of 550MB/S. Now you may say that's USB 3.0 speed and xvideo xxx.com that would be xvideo xxx.com correct thought that's a theoretical maximum xvideo xxx.com at USB xvideo xxx.com 3.0. I am running this through a USB-C port in an external enclosure xvideo xxx.com though (NOT xvideo xxx.com in a motherboard M.2 slot).Basically xvideo xxx.com I'm getting SATA speed through xvideo xxx.com a USB-C port. xvideo xxx.com Though not quite as advertised it is xvideo xxx.com still xvideo xxx.com a PHENOMENAL xvideo xxx.com leap in performance. Earlier I was xvideo xxx.com transferring RAW files xvideo xxx.com from an old USB 3.0 hard drive. Transferring in real world cases with BIG files the hard drive CHUNKED along xvideo xxx.com at 30 MB/S xvideo xxx.com which is well below SATA xvideo xxx.com speed spec. The fact that xvideo xxx.com I'm getting xvideo xxx.com (you sittting down, you xvideo xxx.com ready) 550 MB/S instead xvideo xxx.com through USB-C is STILL a difference of almost 20x faster speed. The xvideo xxx.com same chunk xvideo xxx.com of xvideo xxx.com files through a SATA xvideo xxx.com External took 30 minutes. The same going through this xvideo xxx.com enclosure took 75 xvideo xxx.com seconds flat.BUY THIS DRIVE! I recommend pairing with the ASUS STRIX. I will xvideo xxx.com re-update as xvideo xxx.com time goes on xvideo xxx.com but xvideo xxx.com this is xvideo xxx.com phenomenal for use with xvideo xxx.com a laptop xvideo xxx.com now. I am floored with such a lightweight external xvideo xxx.com storage option.People just need to keep in xvideo xxx.com mind that specs of an m.2 xvideo xxx.com port xvideo xxx.com will get that advertised 3500MBPs most likely! xvideo xxx.com However running through cables and xvideo xxx.com USBC will be a slight bottleneck. xvideo xxx.com That xvideo xxx.com bottleneck advertised xvideo xxx.com speed xvideo xxx.com is about SATA or 550MBPs. My test case was 50GB of RAW photo files xvideo xxx.com from my camera.Easy to xvideo xxx.com install xvideo xxx.com on physical board. Had to Google how to get xvideo xxx.com it to show up as a viable xvideo xxx.com drive, xvideo xxx.com but once that xvideo xxx.com was done it xvideo xxx.com runs like a xvideo xxx.com champ. Great read xvideo xxx.com write speeds xvideo xxx.com for gaming and xvideo xxx.com lots of room for games. When it works, this drive xvideo xxx.com works well. It's quick (maxes out at ~2.9 GB/s on my system) and is easy to use. I xvideo xxx.com bought the drive in xvideo xxx.com October of 2019 but the drive started having xvideo xxx.com issues in xvideo xxx.com August of 2020 and fully died xvideo xxx.com in September xvideo xxx.com of 2020, xvideo xxx.com which xvideo xxx.com means it only lasted xvideo xxx.com 11 months xvideo xxx.com and that's xvideo xxx.com where the xvideo xxx.com issues come in.First, xvideo xxx.com PNY doesnt provide any xvideo xxx.com diagnostics xvideo xxx.com tools. When I first started having xvideo xxx.com issues the S.M.A.R.T. reports xvideo xxx.com all said everything was fine, xvideo xxx.com but xvideo xxx.com Dell's utility was showing issues. However there was xvideo xxx.com no xvideo xxx.com way to xvideo xxx.com do further tests to confirm Dell's utility xvideo xxx.com info. xvideo xxx.com Talking to support was xvideo xxx.com fine, and they xvideo xxx.com gave me an RMA number so xvideo xxx.com I could send xvideo xxx.com the drive back but with two xvideo xxx.com major issues:1) They would not send xvideo xxx.com a replacement ahead of time. I did an RMA for Western xvideo xxx.com Digital xvideo xxx.com years ago and they xvideo xxx.com took my xvideo xxx.com payment info and sent a xvideo xxx.com new drive with the xvideo xxx.com understanding that if I xvideo xxx.com didn't send back the defective xvideo xxx.com one, they xvideo xxx.com would charge me xvideo xxx.com for xvideo xxx.com the replacement. No such option exists for PNY xvideo xxx.com so I had xvideo xxx.com two choices; Go xvideo xxx.com without a computer xvideo xxx.com for the two weeks xvideo xxx.com needed for the RMA or, buy a replacement myself and xvideo xxx.com try to re-sell it xvideo xxx.com later2) Return shipping is paid by the customer, and not xvideo xxx.com by PNY. xvideo xxx.com This isn't a huge cost, but again, it's xvideo xxx.com a strike against them, especially since the issue is that the drive failed, so xvideo xxx.com its xvideo xxx.com not my fault. So, I ordered a cheap temporary drive xvideo xxx.com and xvideo xxx.com it thankfully xvideo xxx.com arrived xvideo xxx.com the day xvideo xxx.com after this drive xvideo xxx.com fully gave up xvideo xxx.com the xvideo xxx.com ghost (again, the xvideo xxx.com day xvideo xxx.com just before that, the S.M.A.R.T. reports all said everything was fine, but Dell's utility said there xvideo xxx.com were issues). I shipped the drive back Monday, it arrived Friday xvideo xxx.com and they xvideo xxx.com shipped the xvideo xxx.com replacement Tuesday and it arrived Saturday. So a total of xvideo xxx.com 13 days for xvideo xxx.com the xvideo xxx.com turnaround from the time I xvideo xxx.com shipped the drive until the replacement came. The xvideo xxx.com replacement is xvideo xxx.com brand new and appears to be an updated version xvideo xxx.com (thinner flash modules xvideo xxx.com and they are only on one side rather than xvideo xxx.com both sides). It's working well xvideo xxx.com and xvideo xxx.com I'm hoping xvideo xxx.com for multiple years of service from it, but I'm not holding my xvideo xxx.com breath. If they paid for xvideo xxx.com return shipping and gave me an option of getting the replacement before shipping back the defective drive, this review would be glowing. But because xvideo xxx.com of those issues, I cant xvideo xxx.com recommend buying any xvideo xxx.com hard drive xvideo xxx.com from PNY because if you need to use the 5 year warranty, its a xvideo xxx.com pain.Premium performance xvideo xxx.com and xvideo xxx.com ultra low power xvideo xxx.com consumption xvideo xxx.com ideal for demanding xvideo xxx.com applications and high end gamesThe xvideo xxx.com enhanced bandwidth of xvideo xxx.com the nvme xvideo xxx.com interface allows for xvideo xxx.com extreme performance and xvideo xxx.com low latency, xvideo xxx.com making it xvideo xxx.com superior to sata based SSD'sThis is for xvideo xxx.com the xvideo xxx.com PNY XLR8 CS3030 xvideo xxx.com 1TB M.2 Gen3x4 xvideo xxx.com NVMe xvideo xxx.com SSD.This is xvideo xxx.com a great value NVMe drive xvideo xxx.com that competes with the best from Samsung for xvideo xxx.com significantly less money. The 1TB xvideo xxx.com model xvideo xxx.com has 1GB of xvideo xxx.com DRAM cache, xvideo xxx.com and I believe all capacities of this model have at least some xvideo xxx.com DRAM xvideo xxx.com cache, which is better than xvideo xxx.com similar drives from xvideo xxx.com some xvideo xxx.com other manufacturers. In CrystalMark, I'm getting sequential reads and writes of around xvideo xxx.com 3.2GBps. This xvideo xxx.com is even on an xvideo xxx.com NVMe adapter card xvideo xxx.com on an xvideo xxx.com unsupported motherboard xvideo xxx.com with a custom bios to support it. Running on a native M.2 xvideo xxx.com Gen3x4 slot on a newer board may yield better results. Also, for anyone using an aftermarket or motherboard-included heatsink, the sticker xvideo xxx.com peels off xvideo xxx.com cleanly.I really couldn't ask for much more at this price. Good size cache, good price xvideo xxx.com to capacity ratio, good controller, xvideo xxx.com great speeds.
