What is ladyboygold EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra Gaming; 10G-P5-3897-KL; 10GB GDDR6X; iCX3 technology; ARGB LED, Metal Backplate, LHR temperamental boy?

Real Boost Clock: 1800 MHz; Memory Detail: 10240 MB GDDR6X.A beast of a graphics card able to run almost any ladyboygold game at ladyboygold ultra graphics settings ladyboygold without breaking a sweat.Pros:Beautiful customizable bright ladyboygold rbg across the ladyboygold side ladyboygold and top ladyboygold of the card (can be turned off if that's not ladyboygold your thing)Comes with a retention bar in ladyboygold the ladyboygold box but I didn't ladyboygold use it but there ladyboygold is minimal sag in the ladyboygold card ladyboygold regardless, it's very sturdy and secures nicely.Does not overheat at all ladyboygold and stays very cool ladyboygold and quiet, ran kombustor ladyboygold benchmark at 2k resolution with all settings ladyboygold maxed ladyboygold for over ladyboygold 30 mins and temps ladyboygold never ladyboygold went ladyboygold over 81c ladyboygold (I did not overclock for any benchmarks, this is ladyboygold stock ladyboygold power)Cons:The only bad things ladyboygold I can think ladyboygold about ladyboygold this card are not even bad at all. Most ladyboygold likely will not fit in most mATX cases and if ladyboygold it ladyboygold does it will ladyboygold be a ladyboygold very tight fit so check dimensions of your ladyboygold case ladyboygold before ladyboygold you ladyboygold buy this cardRequires 3x 8pin pcie cables for ladyboygold supplemental power, my power supply was modular ladyboygold but only ladyboygold came with ladyboygold 2 so I had to buy an extra pcie cable for the card (no big ladyboygold deal ladyboygold because you can buy individual cables for fairly cheap, just make sure the cable is compatible with ladyboygold your ladyboygold specific power supply ladyboygold or things could get damaged)Overall this was an amazing buy ladyboygold and definitely worth ladyboygold the price compared to ladyboygold what they used to cost ladyboygold (I bought mine ladyboygold new for $778) I would definitely recommend for anyone who wants to ladyboygold beef up their computer or ladyboygold enjoyes maxing ladyboygold out graphics ladyboygold settings in games.Real-Time ladyboygold RAY TRACING in games ladyboygold for cutting-edge, hyper-realistic graphics.Update 7/27/22I ladyboygold decided to order a new display ladyboygold port ladyboygold to HDMI cable(I use ladyboygold a 4k Sony TV) to just see if my other 4k HDMI cables were ladyboygold for some reason not working right. Once ladyboygold I used ladyboygold this new ladyboygold cable the image is ladyboygold fine. What's weird is that the old 4k ladyboygold HDMI ladyboygold cables I used are ladyboygold fine now ladyboygold too. Very strange. ladyboygold Not sure why ladyboygold it decided that the cables weren't adequate ladyboygold after a week of ladyboygold working just fine, and ladyboygold now they are fine again. I'll just ladyboygold use the display port to HDMI ladyboygold cable going forward. It unlocks the ladyboygold 4k ladyboygold 120hz option via display port anyway. I hope this might help others having a similar ladyboygold situation. I'm glad ladyboygold I don't have a dead card and get ladyboygold to enjoy how awesome this ladyboygold beast is. 4 stars for hassle and the ladyboygold issue being an arbitrary vendetta the card had with cables ladyboygold that it now ladyboygold works fine with.Original review:I was very excited that the prices were finally reasonable so I took ladyboygold advantage and went ladyboygold for ladyboygold it. I was excited that it came in one day! installed it with no issues ladyboygold at first, ladyboygold updated ladyboygold all ladyboygold the drivers and bios for ladyboygold my motherboard, and enjoyed a few days ladyboygold of beautiful textures and frame rates at much higher settings than my tired ladyboygold old EVGA GTX 970 SSC ladyboygold could hope to accomplish. ladyboygold Then the ladyboygold fateful day, exactly one ladyboygold week into ownership I changed a couple settings in a game ladyboygold after a benchmark and quit ladyboygold the game. ladyboygold Out ladyboygold of nowhere my screen starts to ladyboygold strobe ladyboygold and flicker, then it went solid ladyboygold green. I restarted the computer and got this beautiful image.I tried different cables, but this is all I see. I installed the old ladyboygold trusty 970 again with the first cable, ladyboygold and it works just fine. ladyboygold I tried putting them both in ladyboygold at ladyboygold the same time to access the settings for each card while I ladyboygold can actually see ladyboygold anything. ladyboygold Everything is up to date ladyboygold and it claims from device manager to ladyboygold be working but this ladyboygold is the only video ladyboygold output I see ladyboygold from the card. Tried different monitors ladyboygold and ladyboygold a TV. Reinstalled drivers, changed the resolution and refresh rate. Went back into that game and reset settings. ladyboygold I don't know ladyboygold what else there is to try.I've always bought EVGA ladyboygold cards after my first fiasco into PC ladyboygold building ladyboygold when I had to replace a ladyboygold dead card with an EVGA GTX 460, ladyboygold then ladyboygold I had 2 GTX 660ti SSC cards, ladyboygold and my 970. I have ladyboygold never been let ladyboygold down until now. I'm not really sure if ladyboygold I should just try a replacement, ladyboygold or a different ladyboygold brand ladyboygold altogether. The ASUS TUF ladyboygold is supposed to be one of the other top versions of the card.. maybe that's what I'll do.I previously had a EVGA GTX 1660 Super ladyboygold in my system and this is such a ladyboygold huge upgrade. ladyboygold Last year during The Great GPU Shortage, I bought ladyboygold a 165hz/1440p monitor which was a small oversight ladyboygold as my ladyboygold GPU clearly couldnt ladyboygold even handle my ladyboygold monitor. ladyboygold Fast forward ladyboygold to now, I recently got a pay bonus from work and was back ladyboygold in the computer ladyboygold component ladyboygold market after seeing that ladyboygold GPU ladyboygold prices had dropped significantly. Im very content with ladyboygold the price I paid for this 3080. ladyboygold Now ladyboygold onto the GPU itself. The ladyboygold negatives:- It ladyboygold is quite ladyboygold the space heater. A factor might be ladyboygold that I temporarily ladyboygold moved my setup into my bedroom ladyboygold from the office/studio to accommodate a guest. I also have case fans manually set to 100%, so I might tinker with that a little bit. It raised ladyboygold the ambient temperature ladyboygold of my ladyboygold room by probably around 5-10 degrees Fahrenheit (yeah ladyboygold pretty bad).- Its a ladyboygold CHONKER. GPU ladyboygold sag ladyboygold may occur. I bought a bracket/riser after I ladyboygold received it, ladyboygold since I ladyboygold didnt ladyboygold know ladyboygold how large it would be.- Not really a negative, but ladyboygold please, please ladyboygold buy a PROPER power ladyboygold supply to ladyboygold support ladyboygold this card. Ive heard ladyboygold horror ladyboygold stories. The positives:- The ladyboygold performance is awesome, Im actually able to reach 165 fps + ladyboygold 1440p on most games if I ladyboygold tweak ladyboygold the settings ladyboygold a little bit. Ive been ladyboygold playing ladyboygold Forza Horizon 5 a lot and ladyboygold I have it ladyboygold set ladyboygold to mostly the highest settings (theres a ladyboygold driver ladyboygold bug with ladyboygold the game ladyboygold currently, no biggie, barely see any difference anyway) and I get over 140 fps on average.- Ray-tracing! Its ladyboygold a given but honestly, I ladyboygold only turn this on for non-competitive games and if I dont ladyboygold mind being below my ladyboygold personal target of 120-144 fps.- The noise! Its ladyboygold been really quiet for ladyboygold the ladyboygold most ladyboygold part, but ladyboygold keep in mind that I previously said I had the case fans set to 100% so ladyboygold thats probably drowning the GPU fans out. ladyboygold Your mileage ladyboygold may vary here.- Streaming/recording! I really ladyboygold like NVENC. While my previous card ladyboygold also had NVENC, it could ladyboygold not ladyboygold keep ladyboygold up streaming while gaming. I also have a Ryzen 5 3600 (yes I know Im slightly bottlenecking, ladyboygold I have ladyboygold heard this many times), and while that ladyboygold CPU ladyboygold is a ladyboygold beast, ladyboygold it just simply doesnt like being put ladyboygold to the ladyboygold streaming/recording ladyboygold tasks solo ladyboygold when gaming. ladyboygold It needs its good ladyboygold ol ladyboygold GPU encoder friend.- Ive ladyboygold owned 3 EVGA cards now ladyboygold including this ladyboygold one, and theyve ladyboygold all been reliable ladyboygold so far. EVGA gets ladyboygold a plus here for that.In ladyboygold conclusion, get this card if you have the capable ladyboygold budget and/or youre looking to get some massive upgrade gains. Like I said, I dont have the best CPU ladyboygold to ladyboygold support this, but ladyboygold its been working great so far.

Buyer's experience:
