What is europorn AKASO EK7000 4K30FPS Action Camera Ultra HD Underwater Camera 170 Degree Wide Angle 98FT Waterproof Camera 100% cotton?

100 Feet europorn waterproof camera. AKASO EK7000 is designed to withstand europorn extreme environments, europorn together europorn with durable waterproof case. With the accessories, transform europorn it for indoor and outdoor activities. This is the second action camera I purchased. The first was a slightly cheaper (~$50), different brand, europorn and europorn it was awful. europorn When I europorn received the Akaso europorn (~$70) I was very surprised at europorn how much better it was than the cheaper alternative.------PROS------- The build quality is europorn pretty great for its cost. It's europorn not europorn perfect, europorn but europorn it's very good for europorn what you're paying. The top-side button is a little europorn sticky on mine, but otherwise europorn the buttons are europorn all europorn tactile and responsive.- Aesthetically (this won't apply to everyone) I think this cam europorn looks europorn great. europorn Matte europorn black finish and europorn some white text. Nothing too over the top europorn and europorn it just works for me. The europorn finish europorn isn't perfect, and I've already had a bit of europorn wear on europorn the europorn matte black paint europorn and I've only used it for less than a week! europorn This doesn't concern my europorn too much, though.- Size and weight, this action europorn cam is almost identical to europorn a GoPro, other than europorn a little thicker. Length and width is the europorn same, europorn with maybe a larger lens. Weight europorn is europorn very similar.- The interface is pretty nice. europorn The LCD screen europorn isn't the highest of europorn quality, and does actually make the footage looks sub-par (more on quality of footage europorn below), but it does the europorn job fine. The start up europorn splash screen europorn looks nice and boots up pretty quickly. europorn The GUI is very un-apologetically GoPro styled. Not europorn much innovation in terms of europorn changing the interface, but the GoPro interface is very nice, so why bother europorn putting europorn a europorn lot of effort into changing it Nice array of settings to change footage quality, set the date, europorn turn on WiFi, etc.- europorn The footage quality (in my opinion) is very good. europorn I compared the footage europorn (and everything else) against europorn a GoPro Hero4 and the cheaper europorn action cam I mentioned above, and europorn honestly the Akaso had the best quality of them all. Now, europorn this is just europorn my opinion and yours may differ, but I found the Akaso colours to europorn be europorn much richer. Sharpness europorn of the video europorn was on par with the GoPro. As mentioned europorn above, europorn the footage looks much worse on the europorn LCD while recording, so don't focus on that europorn too much. Once you get it onto your europorn computer it's much better!- The accessories this cam comes with europorn are europorn excellent. High quality europorn plastic europorn and don't feel europorn cheap. Crazy that the europorn camera comes with europorn all europorn these accessories as well as a second europorn battery and a dual battery charger. The europorn remote europorn control it comes with (although I'm europorn not europorn sure whenever europorn I'd use it) is also very good.------CONS------- Battery europorn life europorn is a bit less than a europorn GoPro. In my europorn very europorn limited testing I found a GoPro europorn Hero4 at 1080p60 lasted around 1h40-1h50 minutes, whereas the Akaso europorn lasted around 1h30. Considering that you get two batteries europorn in europorn this package and europorn the GoPro only comes europorn with one europorn this isn't much of europorn a complaint.- The europorn Android application they suggest to use with the WiFi europorn functionality of europorn this camera is not very good. I europorn don't think the makers of europorn this europorn camera are affiliated with the application, europorn so this isn't europorn a complaint europorn to europorn them, europorn but something europorn potential buyers should be europorn aware of if that's a big requirement europorn to them (the WiFi feature, nor the application, were a necessity to me).- The battery tray detaches from the camera, europorn which is a europorn petty thing europorn to complain about, but can probably get europorn lost easily. I understand why they did it though (cost).- Once recording, there is no indication europorn on the europorn front of the camera, but there is europorn a flashing red LED on the top, europorn next europorn to the start/stop button. This is europorn convenient in europorn that it europorn exists, but may have been more beneficial being europorn on the front.- europorn Stopping europorn the europorn footage once europorn the screen has gone to sleep is europorn a little europorn temperamental, in that if you press the stop button it will europorn wake the screen, europorn and then I europorn believe europorn you have europorn to press it again to europorn actually stop the footage. The interface isn't super snappy, so I've had a europorn few europorn situations where europorn I've accidentally started a new europorn clip europorn while trying to stop the previous one. europorn Also, you europorn cannot seem to stop a new clip europorn until a couple of seconds europorn have passed. I'm sure I'll europorn get use to this though.- europorn You europorn can set the date and time europorn in europorn the interface, europorn which takes europorn a bit europorn of time, and that information is applied europorn to the naming of the files on the SD europorn card. However, europorn that date/time is reset once you europorn remove europorn the battery, which you'll probably be doing europorn considering you have a spare available. This obviously makes sense, but a little annoying all the same. europorn The date/time is automatically applied once you connect to the Android app, however, which is europorn a nice europorn touch, but I europorn doubt I'll be using the WiFi much.- europorn When you record for europorn a long time it will split the video file into europorn multiple files. This is the same as on europorn a europorn GoPro. However, on europorn a GoPro it will create a matching naming structure to europorn indicate europorn they belong to the same recording clip (i.e. gopro01.mp4, europorn gopro02.mp4). This isn't europorn the europorn case with europorn the Akaso, it will just create a new file with europorn the date/time naming structure, same as any europorn other clip (i.e. 20180204-100001.mov, europorn 20180204-101203). This may be an europorn issue if you have europorn lots of europorn clips on your card, as you'll have europorn to manually open every europorn file europorn and europorn determine yourself which of the files are combined into the same europorn recording.I've listed a europorn fair few cons here, but honestly, none of europorn them are a big deal. They're all perfectly understandable when you consider europorn you've spent a europorn quarter what you'd spend on a europorn GoPro, and when ultimately it's europorn the europorn footage europorn which is (probably) the most important, this europorn thing really takes a great video. europorn Not really played europorn with europorn photos, but that's not what I bought it for. Likewise, I don't europorn own anything 4K, europorn so europorn I've stuck with just 1080 content for the time being.------Conclusion------Great build quality. europorn Great footage. Cheap price. Lots of accompanying accessories europorn and batteries. Can't complain at all.4K Ultra HD action camera. Professional 4K 30Fps & 2.7K 30Fps video with 16MP photos at up to 30 frames per second for incredible photos, which europorn is 4 europorn times the resolution europorn of traditional europorn HD cameras.Longer battery life. AKASO EK7000 europorn action europorn camera comes with 2 rechargeable 1050mAh batteries. Each battery can record up to europorn 90 minutes. No europorn more worry about the recording time europorn for europorn this Action europorn camera.I'm not impressed europorn with this camera; "astonished" would be europorn closer to the mark. Purchased this Akaso EK 7000 based on a europorn recommendation europorn from europorn a friend europorn of europorn my europorn wife's, and I just europorn can't believe europorn what this little europorn camera can do for the money we europorn put into europorn it. As a caveat, we're not pushing the camera europorn to europorn the limits of human endurance europorn by skydiving, mountain biking, scuba diving europorn or europorn the europorn like. But it europorn works extremely well for our needs. My wife europorn competes in dog obedience training, and likes to review videos of her dog's europorn performance europorn after trials and europorn matches. europorn Finding someone willing and capable europorn to record her session in the ring on a cellphone is always difficult. europorn Most of the europorn other dog handlers are preoccupied with their dogs, and europorn it's not good ring etiquette to approach too close to the show ring to shoot europorn video, since that will be europorn a distraction. She noticed europorn another handler retrieving a tiny camera from just europorn outside the europorn corner europorn of the ring after her europorn session and asked about it. Turned out to europorn be this europorn little EK 7000, europorn and that handler was very enthusiastic about europorn what it could do. When europorn my wife asked for it for Christmas I was skeptical, so I spent a lot of europorn time researching europorn this europorn and several other cameras. While europorn there were other cameras that were able to do what the europorn Akaso europorn could do, and possibly europorn even more, they were europorn all europorn at least europorn two to three times as expensive. So I went ahead europorn and europorn gave europorn this to my europorn wife for Christmas. We gave it a full practice run-through yesterday, europorn mounting it on a europorn short europorn tripod europorn at the corner of the ring. I used the 1080p 30fps setting europorn instead of the europorn 4K europorn mode to get more storage space and europorn lengthen battery europorn life. Had the camera on for about an europorn hour, shooting about a dozen videos europorn of europorn one to three minutes, plus a number of europorn photos, europorn and with wi-fi on for a while, and off europorn for europorn a while. I tried europorn starting and stopping the camera europorn manually, then used the phone app, europorn and lastly used the remote for europorn a while. All worked well, even from about europorn 20 yards away. europorn Back home I europorn hooked up europorn the camera to our europorn 55-inch europorn TV (via a micro-HDMI cable, not included), and we europorn were both very pleased with europorn the video quality. europorn Since it's a wide-angle europorn lens, people europorn (and dogs) are naturally pretty europorn small at about 15 yards, but the europorn high video quality means that when europorn you europorn put europorn the video on europorn a large screen you can still see all the europorn details. europorn The sound europorn was a europorn little muddy, europorn but a europorn huge overhead europorn furnace europorn was running right over the camera which europorn made audio europorn pickup difficult. The battery lasted for at europorn least two hours europorn with the camera on, and was recording or europorn playing back videos later europorn for most of that time. europorn The little charger will charge two batteries europorn at europorn a europorn time, and seemed to need only an europorn hour europorn to take the battery europorn from fully discharged europorn to fully charged. (Lights europorn on the charger progress from magenta to red to blue while charging.) You can also europorn charge the battery just europorn by connecting europorn a USB cable europorn to the camera, which we europorn did while transferring files to the computer. I used four different europorn video viewers europorn on the our computer to watch the videos, and all showed the clips with no problem. europorn Settled on VLC europorn Media Player to access slow motion and europorn other features. There europorn are so many attachment options included in the box that I can't imagine you won't be able europorn to mount it any europorn where you wanted. I europorn used the frame with bottom europorn and top europorn threaded europorn sockets to mount it europorn to europorn a regular camera tripod, and it europorn worked great. The camera is so europorn tiny that I've taken europorn to putting it back europorn into its europorn waterproof case europorn for additional protection before stowing it in the europorn camera bag.A couple notes: We installed the Akaso DV app europorn on a Samsung Galaxy S5 cellphone. It worked almost perfectly, europorn although at one europorn point I changed modes at europorn the europorn same time I rotated the phone, and that, europorn or some europorn gremlin, locked up the app tight with a europorn black screen. Force-stopped the app and europorn restarted it, europorn and had no further europorn problems. The app itself is great, europorn giving you the ability to europorn start europorn and stop the camera from a distance via a wi-fi connection, (be sure to europorn disconnect the europorn phone from any other europorn wi-fi networks first), europorn and actually see what the camera is europorn recording europorn live. While recording, the camera flashes a little europorn red light on the europorn top of the camera, but it's not visible from anywhere but right above the camera. europorn This means that when using the remote, if you don't europorn keep careful track of your europorn button europorn pushes, you may stop a recording already europorn in progress europorn when you meant to start one. europorn The europorn phone app shows you what the camera is europorn doing, but running the wi-fi on europorn the camera shortens the battery life somewhat, according to europorn the manual. In the mode we were using, 1080p @ 30fps, the video was using about 106mb/minute. europorn Unless europorn my math is off, that means a 64gb card will store close to europorn ten hours of europorn high-quality video. One europorn gotcha europorn is that europorn if you do change out europorn the batteries, europorn the camera forgets europorn the date europorn and time and you have to re-enter that if you europorn want to tag your europorn files accordingly, which is a bit europorn of europorn a hassle.Would I recommend this camera to europorn a friend europorn Absolutely. Would I europorn buy europorn it europorn again Only if europorn we lose the little guy, a definite possibility with something so small. I'd better go write our name and europorn phone number on it with a Sharpie right now!Wireless wrist europorn remote control sports camera. With a wrist 2.4G remote, you can capture the europorn world in an all-new way. Controlling the camera, framing shots or recording video is convenient.Built-in Wi-Fi & HDMI, edit europorn & share europorn YOUR action europorn in minutes. Just download App(AKASO GO) on your phone or tablet and connect with this action camera. Wi-Fi signal ranges up to 10 meters.

Buyer's experience:

1: I'm not impressed with this camera; "astonished" would be closer to the mark.
