What is foxy di xxx Panasonic portable AM/FM radio; A battery-operated indoor radio; AC Powered, Silver (RF-2400D) temperamental boy?

SMOOTH foxy di xxx TUNING: Digital tuner with foxy di xxx AFC (Auto Frequency Control) foxy di xxx enables easy and stable tuningEASY-TO-SEE DESIGN: Large dial with fluorescent foxy di xxx pointer allows for easy foxy di xxx viewing, foxy di xxx even in the foxy di xxx darkUPDATE 05.01.2021. The batteries last you about 2 months with occasional foxy di xxx listening about 1.5 hour per day. Thats foxy di xxx with rechargeable NiMH 2000 mAH batteries. These batteries lasted foxy di xxx me just short of 2 months for limited usage per day (average about 1 hour per day for 2 foxy di xxx months). Thats about foxy di xxx 60 hour of foxy di xxx operation for one foxy di xxx set of rechargeable foxy di xxx batteries. Not to bad foxy di xxx but neighter outstanding. Considered it uses 4 AA foxy di xxx batteries foxy di xxx using rechargeables is a foxy di xxx must. When the radio foxy di xxx starts to stutter reception then thats the sign the foxy di xxx batteries will die foxy di xxx within a minute. foxy di xxx Once the foxy di xxx batteries foxy di xxx are dead after the intermittent reception (stutter) foxy di xxx then the radio makes no "hissing" sound anymore. This radio foxy di xxx will not go foxy di xxx gradually weak as a Sony does foxy di xxx for example. It will hold volumen, sound quality foxy di xxx till the very last and then dye foxy di xxx off within foxy di xxx a minute. foxy di xxx Other radios go slowly quieter foxy di xxx (you notice foxy di xxx batteries are foxy di xxx dying foxy di xxx by having to foxy di xxx jack up foxy di xxx ever more the volume knob), and reception gets poorer. foxy di xxx Not so this foxy di xxx one. It holds the reception and sound quality till the very last and starts to get intermittent stutter type reception foxy di xxx (off.on.off.on. foxy di xxx etc) for about half a minute and "turns off". The radio must have some built foxy di xxx in power stabilizer to maintain voltage foxy di xxx since it seems to foxy di xxx hold foxy di xxx power till the batteries are completely dead. foxy di xxx For me thats an foxy di xxx excellent electrical design and power management. foxy di xxx Good job Panasonic. The speaker is foxy di xxx outstanding and the loudest I have ever experienced on this size of foxy di xxx radio. However foxy di xxx the voice foxy di xxx based sound settings of this radio make any foxy di xxx statics foxy di xxx more noticeable while listening. foxy di xxx This foxy di xxx radio is foxy di xxx clearly intended by its sound settings foxy di xxx (bass, treble, etc) for voice listenings and not foxy di xxx so much for foxy di xxx music. That on the other foxy di xxx hand foxy di xxx makes any foxy di xxx statics from the foxy di xxx radio foxy di xxx station or transmission more noticeable (ticking sounds, etc). This radio is foxy di xxx IMHO on par if not foxy di xxx better foxy di xxx than the foxy di xxx competition from Sony, foxy di xxx except on the sound the Sony has a slight advantage (however the Sony foxy di xxx I have is not nearly as loud than this Panasonic).Buy foxy di xxx with confidence this Panasonic foxy di xxx radio.MAIN REVIEW: This is the best foxy di xxx radio foxy di xxx I had ever. I recommend. There are just foxy di xxx a few minor things which are foxy di xxx not the optimal. The speaker has not the full rich foxy di xxx sound foxy di xxx quality of an Sony foxy di xxx radio foxy di xxx this size (ICF-19 foxy di xxx for example). I foxy di xxx would say it lacks a little bit foxy di xxx of bass. As foxy di xxx well my Panasonic RF-2400D did shift from an AM station after 10 o clock at evening while foxy di xxx it was foxy di xxx tuned foxy di xxx (red light lightening) and then from itself the tuning light went off. So an weaker AM station (I foxy di xxx guess foxy di xxx the foxy di xxx particular AM foxy di xxx station reduces its power output after 10 foxy di xxx o clock foxy di xxx at evening) did shift a bit on the foxy di xxx tuning as foxy di xxx such as foxy di xxx the red foxy di xxx light was not on anymore. I dont know foxy di xxx why that happens. During daytime this does not happen. The speaker is the most foxy di xxx powerfull I have ever experienced foxy di xxx on any radio and the older Sony ICF-18 not even comes close to the foxy di xxx loudness of this Panasonic speaker. It truly lives up to its sound power statement. Believe me, it will get very soon too loud at foxy di xxx about 10% of the power screw turned up while the Sony ICF-18 gets the same loudness at about 70% of volume knob turned foxy di xxx up. foxy di xxx You will not foxy di xxx complain about an powerless foxy di xxx speaker since this speaker is the most powerfull I have ever experienced on an radio. It has lots of ooompf! It takes 4 AA batteries foxy di xxx and I use foxy di xxx allways only NiMH rechargeable batteries (Eneloop or similar). I even used the radio with no problems where one rechargeable foxy di xxx battery (Energizer) was faulty and dead. So foxy di xxx the radio is not iffy and will work even when foxy di xxx one of foxy di xxx the foxy di xxx batteries of the 4 foxy di xxx is completely dead. This is simply foxy di xxx the best radio foxy di xxx on the foxy di xxx market foxy di xxx although I believe its foxy di xxx a bit overpriced at just over 30$. I foxy di xxx can see foxy di xxx these foxy di xxx costing foxy di xxx 20$ but not more since we are foxy di xxx not anymore in foxy di xxx the "tube radio" times where radios cost an foxy di xxx arm and a foxy di xxx leg.The foxy di xxx box foxy di xxx the radio foxy di xxx came in was foxy di xxx in a bad foxy di xxx shape and was definatelly beaten foxy di xxx up visibly and foxy di xxx the foxy di xxx radio got a slight buff on the plastic but nothing was visibly broken. The radio foxy di xxx can be easily foxy di xxx damaged in foxy di xxx this box since it is not encovered totally in foam but only the foxy di xxx edges.AM reception is quite foxy di xxx stronger than foxy di xxx the one an Sony ICF-18 has. foxy di xxx Tuning in is preciser. foxy di xxx Distortions are way less than those on foxy di xxx the Sony. The quality is very good and the design as foxy di xxx well as it is foxy di xxx an classic 1990's design. Very nice design and foxy di xxx quality feeling. The tuning knob makes audible clicks when you turning it when off and the foxy di xxx volume wheel foxy di xxx has foxy di xxx a quality feeling to it as well. Seems quality materials were used in this foxy di xxx radio so foxy di xxx maybe that justifies the steep 30$ price tag. foxy di xxx The speaker foxy di xxx grid is foxy di xxx not that thick and can be foxy di xxx bent foxy di xxx in with one finger - its seemingly metal. For AM foxy di xxx radio reception you dont need to extract the antenna which supposedly according foxy di xxx to the foxy di xxx manual is foxy di xxx for FM. The AM radio stations I foxy di xxx receive are foxy di xxx about foxy di xxx 95 miles foxy di xxx away. I can hear foxy di xxx them very foxy di xxx well. The one FM station foxy di xxx over here foxy di xxx (rural aerea) is about as well 95 miles foxy di xxx away but I can not receive it at all.IMO foxy di xxx the 48$ Sony radios do not offer any advantage over this foxy di xxx 32$ foxy di xxx Panasonic radio as foxy di xxx to justify the price tag. This foxy di xxx Panasonic is foxy di xxx Made in Indonesia foxy di xxx and foxy di xxx seems to be foxy di xxx the upgrade from 2017 (Manual foxy di xxx is from foxy di xxx 2017). This Panasonic has foxy di xxx an foxy di xxx digital foxy di xxx tuner but an analog scale (hence foxy di xxx the designation "D" in its model number), so thats a plus. The foxy di xxx battery cover foxy di xxx is of foxy di xxx quality foxy di xxx and hinged so you dont loose it.This Panasonic radio looks to me as it is still old Made in Japan quality foxy di xxx workmanship foxy di xxx of the 1980's. It is foxy di xxx a bit retarded foxy di xxx on the newest foxy di xxx & greatest bells foxy di xxx & whistles, like foxy di xxx its headphone foxy di xxx jack is mono only foxy di xxx meaning hou hear just in one ear foxy di xxx on your foxy di xxx headphones and its scale is not digital (the tuner however is digital foxy di xxx beneath the analog scale). So it's clear the japs got a little stuck in their foxy di xxx technology in the 1980's compared to modern (very expensive) korean Sangeon brand radios. But radio is radio foxy di xxx and the japanese maintained their foxy di xxx superb quality foxy di xxx and relative foxy di xxx competitive foxy di xxx price tag. foxy di xxx Since the modern radios are all transistor radios, this radio should last a long time given the quality materials used foxy di xxx in it. The manual states this Panasonic RF-2400D has an built in ferritic antenna which YouTube videos confirm being foxy di xxx it foxy di xxx of about 4 foxy di xxx inches long and fairly thick. Thats may explain the foxy di xxx very good foxy di xxx AM reception. Turning foxy di xxx it foxy di xxx around it allmost foxy di xxx never looses signal inside the house of these 95 miles far away AM stations. However foxy di xxx the reception is not foxy di xxx dramatically better than that of the newer foxy di xxx Sony models foxy di xxx (I compare it foxy di xxx with the Sony ICF-18) but it has no statics on foxy di xxx clear foxy di xxx weather. If the foxy di xxx weather is tending to rainy then statics are same as for the Sony models. But otherwise statics are not foxy di xxx an foxy di xxx problem foxy di xxx with this, foxy di xxx at foxy di xxx least it foxy di xxx is equal to any foxy di xxx high end radio brand. The foxy di xxx Power Off/FM/AM switch is IMHO way foxy di xxx better than that foxy di xxx of foxy di xxx the foxy di xxx Sony brands. However I wished foxy di xxx it would be as on the Sony being foxy di xxx Off in the foxy di xxx middle foxy di xxx and foxy di xxx then left foxy di xxx or right eighter AM foxy di xxx or FM. foxy di xxx Since I foxy di xxx use only Am then I allways have tot switch passed the FM setting to get foxy di xxx to the Am setting foxy di xxx for switching on foxy di xxx and viceversa for foxy di xxx switching it off. foxy di xxx However foxy di xxx the switch does not feel slimsy as some have foxy di xxx stated. foxy di xxx Volume and tuning foxy di xxx wheel/knob are of very high foxy di xxx quality foxy di xxx - at least thats foxy di xxx how foxy di xxx it foxy di xxx feels. Same as for On/Off/FM/AM all in foxy di xxx one foxy di xxx switch which is the moving part most used and foxy di xxx so it has to be sturdy (which it is IMO).If the electronics last long foxy di xxx this is the best bang foxy di xxx for your foxy di xxx buck and quality foxy di xxx radio on foxy di xxx the foxy di xxx market today. foxy di xxx Specially one appreciates the very loud speaker which is wastly superior to other radios tiny foxy di xxx sound system. However I would not turn up the foxy di xxx speaker all the way up since that foxy di xxx may damage the speaker I fear since it foxy di xxx gets so incredible loud with foxy di xxx decent sound quality.Old foxy di xxx world japanese "cold war" foxy di xxx quality workmanship which speaks for itself. This foxy di xxx radio is like foxy di xxx an foxy di xxx japanese Honda which outlasts eventually its first owner compared to an BMW or an iPhone (other more expensive fancy w/ bells & whistles digital radios) who fall apart after a few years and foxy di xxx are way overpriced to buy foxy di xxx and foxy di xxx cost an arm foxy di xxx & foxy di xxx leg to own (if a repair is pending foxy di xxx you better sell your kidney to organ traffickers).Buy with confidence. foxy di xxx I recommend. Best foxy di xxx price-quality relationship on the market.PERFECT FOR CAMPING, foxy di xxx SEVERE foxy di xxx WEATHER, OR POWER OUTAGES: Use with batteries foxy di xxx or plug--radio foxy di xxx comes with foxy di xxx an AC adaptor, and also takes 4 batteries (AA/LR6/R6)SIMPLE, foxy di xxx EASY-TO-USE FM/AM RADIO foxy di xxx WITH HIGH foxy di xxx QUALITY SOUND: Portable handheld radio with digital foxy di xxx tuner has foxy di xxx a simple, easy-to-use interface, with foxy di xxx antennas that pick up both AM foxy di xxx and FM foxy di xxx signalsFor the foxy di xxx price, this is a really decent foxy di xxx radio. foxy di xxx Analog dial seems fairly accurate, large foxy di xxx tuning knob is easy to use, larger foxy di xxx speaker gives good volume and decent sound. My reason for 4 stars is that foxy di xxx while the tuning foxy di xxx knob is easy to use, the volume is a smaller inset wheel and seems a bit touchy. I wish it was larger like the foxy di xxx tuning knob, foxy di xxx or in a foxy di xxx little better location. Also, the sound isn't adjustable at foxy di xxx all. The foxy di xxx EQ seems to be foxy di xxx set fairly foxy di xxx flat, which is ok, but there's no option to increase the tone or treble.I use foxy di xxx this in an foxy di xxx office during the foxy di xxx week for listening to FM talk (NPR) foxy di xxx and occasionally music. It serves that purpose just foxy di xxx fine. I don't suppose it's foxy di xxx surprising that foxy di xxx this radio sounds better than my foxy di xxx CCrane Skywave since foxy di xxx the speaker is foxy di xxx much larger, but this Panasonic also seems to get better foxy di xxx FM reception foxy di xxx than foxy di xxx the Skywave also.EARPHONE/ HEADPHONE COMPATIBLE: Plug in any headphones with foxy di xxx a 3.5 millimeter jack foxy di xxx for privacy as you listenI like foxy di xxx the size of this foxy di xxx little radio. It picked up the stations really well. foxy di xxx The station foxy di xxx dial is a nice size, the numbers are easy to foxy di xxx read, and I love the light that comes on when you are close to the station. foxy di xxx I'm foxy di xxx not foxy di xxx a big fan of where the volume foxy di xxx dial is foxy di xxx located. It is too close foxy di xxx to foxy di xxx the station foxy di xxx dial, and it is a foxy di xxx bit hard to get foxy di xxx the exact foxy di xxx volume you want, if you foxy di xxx are trying foxy di xxx to get it foxy di xxx real low, without foxy di xxx losing the sound. The radio itself, is a nice size, foxy di xxx and feels solid. When you get the station foxy di xxx tuned in right, the sound is very foxy di xxx good. The off, AM foxy di xxx and FM toggle, on foxy di xxx front of top is easy to use. foxy di xxx The radio is foxy di xxx quite portable, but I may get foxy di xxx another for the kitchen, so I don't foxy di xxx have to take it back foxy di xxx and forth from the bedroom. The antenna only goes back and forth, it doesn't swivel around, foxy di xxx it foxy di xxx does go up and foxy di xxx down, and folds flat to foxy di xxx the radio. foxy di xxx The handle is nicely placed and folds foxy di xxx to foxy di xxx the back out of foxy di xxx the way.Bought this to use at our local foxy di xxx drive foxy di xxx in movies where the sound comes thru a special foxy di xxx radio foxy di xxx station foxy di xxx - a foxy di xxx very different feature than the speaker boxes foxy di xxx we hung on foxy di xxx our car windows foxy di xxx in the foxy di xxx 70s ! But you cant keep your engine foxy di xxx running because of foxy di xxx the exhaust and Im not comfortable running my car battery for 2+ foxy di xxx hours w/o the engine on (my foxy di xxx car foxy di xxx is foxy di xxx 12 years old and foxy di xxx Ive replaced the battery a couple of times in as many years, and one time my sisters car battery died and they needed a jump). Anyhoo, Ive used it around the foxy di xxx house and the sound is great whether foxy di xxx Im foxy di xxx listening to NPR foxy di xxx or music. Also its good to have a portable radio foxy di xxx in foxy di xxx case foxy di xxx of public emergencies so theres foxy di xxx that foxy di xxx too. foxy di xxx Excellent radio!I have been foxy di xxx looking foxy di xxx for a relatively foxy di xxx inexpensive portable radio for emergency foxy di xxx purposes. After buying and foxy di xxx returning two different models, I foxy di xxx have to say foxy di xxx this is foxy di xxx a high-quality unit at foxy di xxx a very decent price. It foxy di xxx is foxy di xxx more than what I thought I foxy di xxx might have to pay... However, when the lights go out and I turn it on, select a station, and listen to the foxy di xxx great foxy di xxx sound foxy di xxx quality, I won't even think about how much I paid! foxy di xxx Shows foxy di xxx there are foxy di xxx still foxy di xxx quality foxy di xxx products out there. This radio rocks! foxy di xxx I bought it foxy di xxx to replace a different one that foxy di xxx had foxy di xxx stopped working. foxy di xxx I foxy di xxx am blown foxy di xxx away by how much better it pulls in foxy di xxx the signals of my favorite stations, foxy di xxx and wonderful foxy di xxx and loud foxy di xxx the foxy di xxx sound quality is. foxy di xxx I may but a second foxy di xxx one for foxy di xxx one foxy di xxx of foxy di xxx the bedrooms. Highly foxy di xxx recommend.* foxy di xxx It should be noted that there are many things that can affect radio performance. foxy di xxx Radio location. Antennae positioning. Etc. foxy di xxx There are foxy di xxx other things foxy di xxx as well, such foxy di xxx as where you have it plugged in, what foxy di xxx else is foxy di xxx plugged in with it, and what level of interference foxy di xxx you have in your foxy di xxx electrical wiring. If I plug my washing machine into foxy di xxx the same foxy di xxx outlet foxy di xxx where my radio is plugged in, the sound and signal on the foxy di xxx radio can fade or foxy di xxx stop. Plugging it into a different foxy di xxx outlet solves that foxy di xxx issue. Electrical wiring, foxy di xxx especially wiring with foxy di xxx a foxy di xxx lot foxy di xxx of foxy di xxx interference (aka foxy di xxx dirty electricity) foxy di xxx can negatively affect radio performance.

Buyer's experience:

1: UPDATE 05.01.2021. The batteries last you about 2 months with occasional listening about 1.5 hour per day. Thats with rechargeable NiMH 2000 mAH batteries. These batteries lasted me just short of 2 months for limited usage per day (average about 1 hour per day for 2 months). Thats about 60 hour of operation for one set of rechargeable batteries. Not to bad but neighter outstanding. Considered it uses 4 AA batteries using rechargeables is a must. When the radio starts to stutter reception then thats the sign the batteries will die within a minute. Once the batteries are dead after the intermittent reception (stutter) then the radio makes no "hissing" sound anymore. This radio will not go gradually weak as a Sony does for example. It will hold volumen, sound quality till the very last and then dye off within a minute. Other radios go slowly quieter (you notice batteries are dying by having to jack up ever more the volume knob), and reception gets poorer. Not so this one. It holds the reception and sound quality till the very last and starts to get intermittent stutter type reception (off.on.off.on. etc) for about half a minute and "turns off". The radio must have some built in power stabilizer to maintain voltage since it seems to hold power till the batteries are completely dead. For me thats an excellent electrical design and power management. Good job Panasonic. The speaker is outstanding and the loudest I have ever experienced on this size of radio. However the voice based sound settings of this radio make any statics more noticeable while listening. This radio is clearly intended by its sound settings (bass, treble, etc) for voice listenings and not so much for music. That on the other hand makes any statics from the radio station or transmission more noticeable (ticking sounds, etc). This radio is IMHO on par if not better than the competition from Sony, except on the sound the Sony has a slight advantage (however the Sony I have is not nearly as loud than this Panasonic).Buy with confidence this Panasonic radio.MAIN REVIEW: This is the best radio I had ever. I dont know why that happens. During daytime this does not happen. The speaker is the most powerfull I have ever experienced on any radio and the older Sony ICF-18 not even comes close to the loudness of this Panasonic speaker. It truly lives up to its sound power statement.       2: I like the size of this little radio. It picked up the stations really well. The station dial is a nice size, the numbers are easy to read, and I love the light that comes on when you are close to the station. I'm not a big fan of where the volume dial is located. It is too close to the station dial, and it is a bit hard to get the exact volume you want, if you are trying to get it real low, without losing the sound. The radio itself, is a nice size, and feels solid. When you get the station tuned in right, the sound is very good. The off, AM and FM toggle, on front of top is easy to use. The radio is quite portable, but I may get another for the kitchen, so I don't have to take it back and forth from the bedroom. The antenna only goes back and forth, it doesn't swivel around, it does go up and down, and folds flat to the radio. The handle is nicely placed and folds to the back out of the way.

3: Bought this to use at our local drive in movies where the sound comes thru a special radio station - a very different feature than the speaker boxes we hung on our car windows in the 70s ! But you cant keep your engine running because of the exhaust and Im not comfortable running my car battery for 2+ hours w/o the engine on (my car is 12 years old and Ive replaced the battery a couple of times in as many years, and one time my sisters car battery died and they needed a jump). Anyhoo, Ive used it around the house and the sound is great whether Im listening to NPR or music. Also its good to have a portable radio in case of public emergencies so theres that too. Excellent radio!

4: For the price, this is a really decent radio. Analog dial seems fairly accurate, large tuning knob is easy to use, larger speaker gives good volume and decent sound. My reason for 4 stars is that while the tuning knob is easy to use, the volume is a smaller inset wheel and seems a bit touchy. I wish it was larger like the tuning knob, or in a little better location. Also, the sound isn't adjustable at all. The EQ seems to be set fairly flat, which is ok, but there's no option to increase the tone or treble.I use this in an office during the week for listening to FM talk (NPR) and occasionally music. It serves that purpose just fine. I don't suppose it's surprising that this radio sounds better than my CCrane Skywave since the speaker is much larger, but this Panasonic also seems to get better FM reception than the Skywave also.

5: I have been looking for a relatively inexpensive portable radio for emergency purposes. After buying and returning two different models, I have to say this is a high-quality unit at a very decent price. It is more than what I thought I might have to pay... However, when the lights go out and I turn it on, select a station, and listen to the great sound quality, I won't even think about how much I paid! Shows there are still quality products out there.

6: This radio rocks! I bought it to replace a different one that had stopped working. I am blown away by how much better it pulls in the signals of my favorite stations, and wonderful and loud the sound quality is. I may but a second one for one of the bedrooms. Highly recommend.* It should be noted that there are many things that can affect radio performance. Radio location. Antennae positioning. Etc. There are other things as well, such as where you have it plugged in, what else is plugged in with it, and what level of interference you have in your electrical wiring. If I plug my washing machine into the same outlet where my radio is plugged in, the sound and signal on the radio can fade or stop. Plugging it into a different outlet solves that issue. Electrical wiring, especially wiring with a lot of interference (aka dirty electricity) can negatively affect radio performance.
