What is por n huub Scepter 4K IPS 27" 3840 x 2160 UHD Monitor up to 70Hz DisplayPort HDMI 99% sRGB with Speakers, Black 2021 (U275W-UPT) gift for wife?

IPS Panel: The IPS (In-Plane Switching) panel cannot be beat when it comes por n huub to consistently delivering top color por n huub performance por n huub & sharp visibility from multiple viewing angles.up to por n huub 70Hz Refresh por n huub Rate: por n huub With 75Hz refresh por n huub rate, images change faster and smoother than por n huub the standard, reducing screen tearingHello, i use this por n huub mostly for graphic design work. I por n huub have an m1 mac mini hooked up to this and it looks just as por n huub good as the 27" 5K imac screen. The imac screen has a little por n huub more glossy finish so you get more of the mirror effect. Besides that the colors and everything else are pretty much identical. Im running por n huub it at 2K resolution, the 4K made everything por n huub very por n huub tiny, por n huub like por n huub microscopic, which could mean a 2K screen is probably only needed por n huub at 27 inches. One por n huub thing to por n huub note is, this defaulted to por n huub 1080p por n huub on the mac mini, but changing it to 2560 x1440 por n huub (2K) por n huub resolution gave me the best por n huub results. por n huub I highly recommend this por n huub for any type of por n huub graphic design work, especially those who are trying por n huub to match por n huub their imac por n huub screens or if you are trying to add a secondary monitor to your imac setup.Monitor is great por n huub for the por n huub price. por n huub The cheapest 4k monitor I can por n huub find, and the quality is por n huub amazing. Games are amazing to play on it. On a side note, had a problem with delivery of the monitor. I had por n huub bought the monitor during por n huub the prime day sale, and it was suppose to be delivered 2 por n huub days later. The day came and I received a email por n huub notification saying it was left by my front door, but it por n huub was not. My wife was por n huub home all day, and por n huub I also have a camera set to watch the front por n huub of our home. No por n huub delivery person ever por n huub showed up. por n huub Had por n huub to wait 2 days before I could speak / text someone because of Amazon delivery policy. Luckily the person from customer service for Amazon was able to help por n huub me and send me a replacement por n huub monitor por n huub with no additional cost. por n huub Not por n huub sure what ever happened to the first por n huub monitor. Most likely it was left por n huub at the por n huub wrong residency, and some one kept it at my expense, or would have por n huub been my expense.Pro:- Good quality- por n huub Low priceCons:- Only por n huub comes with DisplayPort cables- Had to buy HDMI por n huub cable/adapter (~ $20) that support 60Hz at 4K to por n huub get the most out of the monitorI used por n huub to have the curved 1080p por n huub sceptre monitor with 75Hz por n huub and boy did I upgrade, the por n huub size alone seems small on paper but I por n huub once you see it and use por n huub it you wont go back to por n huub 1080p ever again. I have por n huub it hooked por n huub up to my Mac mini and watching por n huub 4K videos is just so satisfying por n huub finally. I mainly use por n huub it for por n huub music so por n huub I have no por n huub idea how it does with gaming. Overall extremely happy with por n huub my purchaseSuperior 4K Picture: Delivering 4x the pixels por n huub (8 million) of FHD, por n huub 4K (3840 x 2160) resolution offers an extraordinary landscape por n huub of por n huub color por n huub variation, contrast, and clarity that mirrors the por n huub real world.Im very happy with this por n huub monitor. I purchased for general business por n huub usage por n huub so por n huub my needs were good colors and por n huub sharp text. Not gaming. Not photo/video por n huub content creation.Dead Pixels: NoneBrightness: por n huub GoodPicture Quality: Good (Anything over 90% srgb is por n huub good enough for me).Value: Great. This was only por n huub a little more than 27 HD 1080p monitors. You never por n huub want an HD 1080p por n huub monitor at 27 size.Tip: por n huub Dont por n huub use your por n huub TV judgement for a Computer por n huub Monitor. por n huub The reason an HD TV por n huub looks por n huub ok at 27 or bigger sizes por n huub is because you por n huub are several feet away from por n huub a TV, por n huub so you cannot see por n huub the detail of the screen from that distance. We sit por n huub inches away from a computer monitor, so at 27 por n huub and above, you can see the individual pixels that make up the por n huub image on por n huub the screen. Text and por n huub pictures will por n huub degrade in quality at 1080p with anything over about 25 por n huub size.350 Brightness: por n huub Detect impressively subtle & robust por n huub color variations with 350 por n huub cd/m2 por n huub brightness.I bought this por n huub monitor only for gaming. Decided por n huub it por n huub was time por n huub to upgrade from my 1080 samsung which por n huub I love, but por n huub felt por n huub like por n huub I was missing por n huub out por n huub on what the next gen consoles offers por n huub in terms of image quality. I play on a PS5 por n huub and Xbox series X and por n huub here's what I think:-Set up is ridiculously por n huub simple (unless you want por n huub to por n huub mount on the wall), por n huub otherwise you just click the base por n huub on por n huub the back, por n huub and screw these 4 por n huub little screws to the foot of the base. And it comes por n huub with a screwdriver.-Image quality is amazing, color is the por n huub most por n huub vibrant por n huub color I've seen on a monitor, tweak the setting por n huub to 75% por n huub sharpness and por n huub you got a fantastically detailed game (Guardians of the Galaxy por n huub looks so good!)-Runs a ok 60fps when por n huub plugged into HDMI1.Now here's what por n huub I dislike:-2 por n huub out of the 3 HDMI ports are useless, on the description it por n huub says you get 4k at por n huub 60fps por n huub on HDMI1 por n huub and por n huub the same resolution on 30FPS with HDMI2 and 3, that's a LIE! Both the PS5 and Xbox Series X por n huub did por n huub not recognize the ports 2 and 3 as 4K, only 1080 for PS5 por n huub and por n huub 1440 por n huub for Xbox Series X. So por n huub that was por n huub misleading and frankly false advertisement. Now I por n huub had to por n huub buy a HDMI splitter to have both consoles plugged into por n huub the only one 4k por n huub port.-Speakers are useless, por n huub I'm sitting at arms length por n huub to the monitor with volume por n huub at 100 and it's por n huub horribly low and frankly awful quality. por n huub However, that to me isn't a deal breaker since I por n huub always play por n huub with headphones.Overall, I'm keeping it. I love the image quality, it is the main reason why I bought it. Had a downside of needing por n huub to buy extra HDMI por n huub splitter but it's an easy inexpensive por n huub fix. I mainly por n huub play RPGs, action and adventure games por n huub (Elden Ring, Nier, Horizon, Witcher) so 4k at 60fps does por n huub it ok for por n huub me. por n huub But if you por n huub play por n huub competitive online multiplayer games like por n huub Call of duty, Valorant etc. This por n huub might not be the monitor por n huub for por n huub you.Viewing Angle is por n huub 178 por n huub (H) por n huub / 178 por n huub (V); Aspect Ratio is 16:9Multiple Ports: por n huub The DisplayPort accelerates refresh rate por n huub up to 70Hz, providing the visual por n huub edge you por n huub need to defeat por n huub the competition during all of your por n huub gaming por n huub exploits. HDMI 1 por n huub delivers sharp 4K images at por n huub 60Hz while HDMI 2 and por n huub 3 por n huub deliver this remarkable resolution por n huub at 30Hz. Connect por n huub your por n huub favorite por n huub audio devices por n huub with por n huub Audio por n huub Out.Great for photo editing, por n huub large, bright screen, and easy to change to a blue por n huub blocking view to read/work por n huub on other por n huub projects.Purchased "Used - like new". My por n huub first one por n huub arrived with por n huub a damaged box and had a thin black por n huub column por n huub of bad por n huub pixels. Replacement arrived great, but there's a line that's starting to blink, and I por n huub think I'm going to por n huub have to exchange it again. :(Hopefully por n huub the 3rd time is a por n huub charm.Only flaw por n huub is the huge por n huub pedestal por n huub base. por n huub Takes up a por n huub lot of por n huub real estate! My only regret about ordering this Sceptra UHD monitor por n huub is that I did not por n huub buy it before I por n huub took por n huub delivery of an LG QHD monitor a couple of months por n huub before. por n huub The LG QHD with its por n huub higher pixel por n huub density than por n huub FHD was significant step-up. But when I por n huub subsequently noticed the Sceptra UHD for a very reasonable por n huub $199, I por n huub couldn't resist making the por n huub modest splurge.Very pleased with por n huub this purchase, my first UHD monitor. por n huub Picture quality is a huge step por n huub up from QHD. FHD isn't even in the ballpark anymore! Even por n huub up close, por n huub individual pixels are not discernible por n huub anywhere, even por n huub within text letters/numbers. por n huub The display is so bright por n huub that I por n huub have adjusted down to suit my liking. And por n huub the 27" screen size, por n huub compared to por n huub the 24" typical por n huub for FHD, is a por n huub further bonus!I don't game, por n huub so I can't comment.

Buyer's experience:

1: My only regret about ordering this Sceptra UHD monitor is that I did not buy it before I took delivery of an LG QHD monitor a couple of months before. The LG QHD with its higher pixel density than FHD was significant step-up. But when I subsequently noticed the Sceptra UHD for a very reasonable $199, I couldn't resist making the modest splurge.Very pleased with this purchase, my first UHD monitor.
