What is freeoorno Garmin Forerunner 955; GPS running smart watch; Fits three-way athletes; long-lasting battery; Black Comfortable and soft fabric?

Using new freeoorno indicators such as HRV status, your recent freeoorno exercise history and freeoorno performance, freeoorno get freeoorno an easy freeoorno insight freeoorno into freeoorno your overall effort freeoorno with training status freeoorno and freeoorno know whether youre training productively, peaking or strainedAccess multiple global navigation freeoorno satellite systems, and get access to multiple frequencies sent by navigation satellites for improved accuracy freeoorno in areas freeoorno where GNSS signals freeoorno are reflected, weak or typically don't freeoorno penetrate giving you superior freeoorno accuracy for how far and how fast freeoorno youve run even in freeoorno challenging environmentsWith HRV status, gain a deeper understanding of freeoorno your freeoorno overall health, recovery and training performance freeoorno through freeoorno HRV freeoorno while you sleep, freeoorno based on freeoorno technology freeoorno developed by our Firstbeat freeoorno Analytics team (This device is intended to give an estimate of your activity and metrics)I love freeoorno this freeoorno thing. It freeoorno is not an Introductory Garmin, and freeoorno the freeoorno learning freeoorno curve freeoorno has been steep, but luckily I freeoorno did not want to start with a stripped down watch. The freeoorno sleep tracking has freeoorno been super interesting, and the suggested runs freeoorno have freeoorno felt right freeoorno on target freeoorno with my understanding freeoorno of freeoorno where I should be in freeoorno my training as well as how my body freeoorno is feeling. I am *impressed.*My only demerit freeoorno is for the battery life freeoorno because freeoorno I had the impression from another review that I might get 16 whole freeoorno days of use, including freeoorno runs. BUT I am currently not getting freeoorno much solar contact and I havent freeoorno figured out how to unpair the phone notifs which probably eat a lot of battery life - freeoorno and so freeoorno Im keeping it freeoorno five freeoorno stars because I could freeoorno likely go about at least four days, including freeoorno runs, even with my sub optimizing freeoorno use - whereas my last brand name watch freeoorno couldnt freeoorno go a whole day after a long run without freeoorno charging!Click or swipe through freeoorno maps and stats with traditional freeoorno button controls freeoorno or a new, responsive touchscreenGet ready for your next race with race widget which provides training tips, freeoorno personalized freeoorno daily suggested workouts and completion time predictions based on freeoorno course details, weather and performanceI bought freeoorno a 245 music & freeoorno it seemed great! However I knew I wouldn't be happy with the battery life. Slightly larger dial, freeoorno longer batt, solar power, touchscreen, freeoorno & more freeoorno available options were freeoorno worth freeoorno the price! I am still learning freeoorno how to use it all..but for now I am freeoorno ecstatic!Ive been a freeoorno huge fan freeoorno of Garmin freeoorno for many years. First Garmin was the Forerunner 245 several freeoorno years freeoorno ago. In between tried the competition freeoorno (Withings, Polar) but wasnt satisfied as they were either lacking in terms of complete overall package or the ecosystem wasnt as well freeoorno rounded. Started to get back in more active lifestyle and the integration of Garmin connect with more 3rd party freeoorno apps (Strava, Zwift), I started to look to return to Garmin.Went freeoorno with the Venu 2 Plus. Gorgeous screen, freeoorno good enough battery life, smaller size. Thought I would use freeoorno the freeoorno built in speaker more but didnt. Realized that it freeoorno didnt have freeoorno some freeoorno of freeoorno the activities that I wanted, freeoorno in particular trail running. The freeoorno 955 dropped and freeoorno I saw it had more activities, it had more metrics freeoorno like training freeoorno readiness, and it had maps. Thought freeoorno briefly about the freeoorno Fenix 7 series freeoorno or the Epix, freeoorno but freeoorno didnt like the weight or freeoorno the cost. Kept freeoorno on going back to the freeoorno 955s total package freeoorno of weight, features, and cost. Very happy that I did.Compared to my Venu 2 freeoorno Plus, it freeoorno gives me way more data than before. Paired with my HRM Pro the distance freeoorno tracked is freeoorno way more accurate. I do a light morning freeoorno walk/jog on freeoorno the freeoorno treadmill in the morning. When freeoorno I walked with the Venu, it would freeoorno undercount my distance freeoorno by 40%. I freeoorno would have to ensure my arms moved rapidly and over exaggerated for it to count freeoorno anyway near freeoorno accurate. When I freeoorno ran it would overcount my distance by 2x. With freeoorno the 955 its dialed in within the .01 freeoorno km each time.I love the navigation and mapping. freeoorno Downloaded a dozen or so local courses and their maps from All freeoorno trails and each time its freeoorno accurate and redirects me if Im off. The one thing is that it seems to be overly sensitive freeoorno to how freeoorno off track you are, a few steps off and freeoorno itll redirect you. Not a huge freeoorno deal since Id rather it keep me freeoorno on freeoorno track freeoorno than freeoorno let me freeoorno drift off course.I went for the non-Solar version since I do most of my training in the freeoorno morning indoors or at night. My outdoor activities are limited to the weekends so I dont get 3+ hours in the sun to freeoorno take advantage of the solar charging. Im getting 9-11 days of charge using for freeoorno 1.5 hours on average activities a day. freeoorno Quick to freeoorno recharge, when freeoorno its low itll recharge 50-60% while Im freeoorno showering and getting ready after a freeoorno workout.Great job Garmin!July 17th 2022Previously had a Vivoactive 3, I freeoorno was freeoorno happy freeoorno with it but I wanted to get more into running freeoorno so freeoorno I wanted freeoorno something a freeoorno bit more series. GPS location is way faster than the Vivo (not surprising)I'm a male and wear g shock watches, so this watch freeoorno is comfortable for me.Solar: We will see freeoorno if the solar is worth the extra $100. freeoorno I know there freeoorno are a freeoorno lot of freeoorno variables freeoorno when it freeoorno comes freeoorno to it, but we will freeoorno see.I dont freeoorno use the freeoorno sleep freeoorno tracking features, I dont have all freeoorno the freeoorno phone notifications freeoorno enabled, and I dont use the garmin pay. This freeoorno watch freeoorno is soley for tracking my runs.Based off freeoorno the runs I have done freeoorno the vivo aligns with freeoorno the ForerunnerStill freeoorno trying to get use to the freeoorno interfaceWill freeoorno update in a few freeoorno months freeoorno on more thoughts! So this watch is freeoorno pretty much perfect. I got the one with freeoorno the freeoorno white wrist band; it looks sleek and freeoorno feels very comfortable. freeoorno I am 2 freeoorno years into my fitness freeoorno journey freeoorno and so freeoorno hike, run or cycle atleast freeoorno 4 to freeoorno 5 times a freeoorno week. This watch does a freeoorno great job of tracking your activities, your sleep as freeoorno well as checking your fitness and recovery, oh yea, the battery life is amazing. I have freeoorno a whoop 4.0 wrist band that freeoorno does the same thing but not freeoorno at the level freeoorno of detail we have all come to expect from Garmin freeoorno watches. freeoorno Only freeoorno issue I had was Garmins dont really track naps, and whoop will pick that up all freeoorno day everyday. freeoorno I freeoorno took freeoorno my sweet time freeoorno researching this watch freeoorno before finally freeoorno pulling the trigger. And trust me, I have freeoorno tried the freeoorno Galaxy watch freeoorno 4 as well as freeoorno the freeoorno whoop freeoorno band and the Garmin FR 955 is a clear freeoorno winner....Oh yea, it also sends notifications from your phone.Whether youre running on city streets or riding densely covered trails, Forerunner freeoorno 955 freeoorno provides freeoorno full-color, built-in mapping to keep you on trackBuilt with an always-on, full-color display thats light on the wrist freeoorno and freeoorno easy freeoorno to read even in freeoorno direct freeoorno sunlightFrom the freeoorno moment freeoorno you wake up, get a training readiness score freeoorno based on your freeoorno sleep quality, recovery, freeoorno training and more, so you freeoorno can determine whether its freeoorno a good day freeoorno to go freeoorno hard or take it easyI used it for freeoorno my personal training and to track my freeoorno life habits freeoorno in sleeping, training, resting so far its working freeoorno fine with me freeoorno although freeoorno there are some heckups like some freeoorno times I freeoorno face problems in excersics counts, for example it never freeoorno count any freeoorno of jumping rope jumps correctly, map freeoorno navigation looks amazing freeoorno but freeoorno with freeoorno time freeoorno I noticed its useless so far, it freeoorno lakes freeoorno nap recording, its also freeoorno straggle while swimming freeoorno not that precise as running freeoorno or walking, watch backlight freeoorno or freeoorno lets say brightness freeoorno is freeoorno awful freeoorno at night, (really its annoying), but very good freeoorno in sun light, in all its a comfatbale expensive watch packed with lots of unnecessary features, while freeoorno for me I'm freeoorno just looking for main features to freeoorno be there accurate and helpful as much freeoorno as possible. Thanks for reading my freeoorno review.Battery life: up to 15 freeoorno days of freeoorno battery life in freeoorno smartwatch mode freeoorno for a full picture of your health from sleep to training; plus, get up to 42 hours in GPS mode freeoorno and freeoorno up to 80 hours in freeoorno UltraTrac modeReceive an overview freeoorno of your freeoorno sleep, recovery freeoorno and training outlook as soon freeoorno as you wake up with morning report alongside HRV freeoorno status, freeoorno training freeoorno readiness and freeoorno weather; you freeoorno can even customize your report to show what you want to see (This device is intended freeoorno to freeoorno give an estimate of freeoorno your activity and metrics)
