What is blazer back flap Garmin Forerunner 735XT; GPS running watch with heart rate monitor; Black/grey Recommended color?

I like the function & blazer back flap features of the watch. I purchased screen protectors, thankfully. Ive blazer back flap had blazer back flap the watch about a blazer back flap week and blazer back flap at a workout today I rolled over blazer back flap and my watch blazer back flap lightly scraped the ground blazer back flap (something blazer back flap my blazer back flap Garmin blazer back flap Forerunner 35 did blazer back flap a lot) blazer back flap and the screen protector cracked blazer back flap in 3 places. blazer back flap While looking at it more closely after blazer back flap the workout, I blazer back flap noticed that part of the watch, blazer back flap just above the top left button, is also cracked. I really expected more durability for a blazer back flap fitness watch.Ive blazer back flap been using this watch religiously blazer back flap for 2 blazer back flap years now. I generally wear it all day everyday. I appreciate that it tracks my HR, steps, blazer back flap and sleep. The GPS blazer back flap feature for Running and Biking always loads pretty quickly, usually blazer back flap less than 10 seconds, regardless of my blazer back flap location. Ive used this watch for pool lap swimming. The watch does an blazer back flap awesome job of keeping count of your blazer back flap laps. blazer back flap Ive dropped and blazer back flap scraped it plenty blazer back flap of times without blazer back flap it blazer back flap ever giving me issues. I like that this watch is NOT touch screen. blazer back flap The buttons and watch system are easy to understand, follow, and manipulate. blazer back flap The GPS is quick to adjust blazer back flap and read your current speed. You can blazer back flap adjust between mph, kph, mile pace, blazer back flap and blazer back flap km blazer back flap pace. A full blazer back flap charge gets me through a blazer back flap week of regular wear and blazer back flap daily (1-2 blazer back flap hour) activity. blazer back flap Even after 2 years, the device battery blazer back flap life hasnt diminished. From a depleted battery, it charges fully blazer back flap in less than blazer back flap an hour. As for blazer back flap long single day events, blazer back flap Id say the battery depletes much faster. blazer back flap I blazer back flap did blazer back flap a blazer back flap 12 blazer back flap hour mountain ruck and the blazer back flap battery blazer back flap was probably about 50% depleted. One blazer back flap issue blazer back flap I had was when using blazer back flap the multi sport tracking feature; once youve completed your first activity and blazer back flap hit the lap blazer back flap button, the device will only show you the length blazer back flap of time passing blazer back flap on subsequent sports blazer back flap as opposed to time and distance. blazer back flap So for blazer back flap my triathlons, after blazer back flap each blazer back flap event, I manually end the swim and start a new bike event on the watch.Be prepared blazer back flap to purchase extra watch bands. I am on my third set. They are however easily replaceable. They blazer back flap seem to last only for blazer back flap a year at a time.Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this blazer back flap watch blazer back flap and my purchase. If my current watch was to blazer back flap be damaged, I would buy it over again. If you're not into long reviews, the title of this review pretty much sums it up.I've blazer back flap only had this watch for a week, blazer back flap but researched for months and blazer back flap knew exactly what features I was blazer back flap looking blazer back flap for.First, my main blazer back flap use blazer back flap cases:Running, blazer back flap swimming, cycling; but majority running. I used to do Triathlon's blazer back flap but blazer back flap just run and blazer back flap swim now mainly blazer back flap for health (and honestly stress relief). I blazer back flap wanted blazer back flap an activity tracker also and liked the idea blazer back flap of an optical heart rate blazer back flap sensor. Some limited blazer back flap smart blazer back flap watch functionality would blazer back flap be nice blazer back flap also. But definitely waterproof, built in GPS for running, and basic stop-watch blazer back flap functionality and blazer back flap something blazer back flap I blazer back flap could blazer back flap wear blazer back flap 24/7 blazer back flap as blazer back flap a daily watch also.Watches I was considering:Apple Watch, blazer back flap Forerunner 235, 735x, Fenix blazer back flap 3 HR, TomTom blazer back flap Mult-Sport blazer back flap Cardio, blazer back flap TomTom Spark, TomTom Spark+Music, Suunto Sparten, blazer back flap Ambit 3, etc. pretty much any of the GPS sport watches, ideally with blazer back flap the optical blazer back flap heart rate. I don't train hard or blazer back flap by heart rate really, and have had the chest straps in the past; just blazer back flap liked blazer back flap the idea of checking my resting heart blazer back flap rate at times and the activity blazer back flap tracker that comes on most of these sport watches. Also, blazer back flap the Apple Watch was out, unless I went with the Waterfi version (waterproof version of it blazer back flap at @ blazer back flap $600). Of course, blazer back flap as I'm writing this, blazer back flap the new Series 2 Apple Watch was announced which blazer back flap is waterproof and has built in GPS. Which, may have altered my decision. I am an iPhone user, but in the end, regardless, I blazer back flap don't really care for the blazer back flap Apple Watch blazer back flap look and am glad I chose the 735xt.I was able blazer back flap to visit blazer back flap a blazer back flap local REI blazer back flap and blazer back flap try on all the Garmin blazer back flap devices. blazer back flap I REALLY blazer back flap love blazer back flap the blazer back flap Fenix 3 HR blazer back flap and the style, blazer back flap but I have small wrists (6.5") blazer back flap and in the end, it was just too large. blazer back flap It wouldn't even fit under the cuff of my blazer back flap basic dress shirt, and didn't see myself wearing it to bed blazer back flap to take advantage of the blazer back flap sleep functionality. The TomTom's didn't really look like I could wear blazer back flap them every day as a watch. I did blazer back flap consider blazer back flap the TomTom Spark Cardio + Music blazer back flap as I liked blazer back flap the idea blazer back flap of not having to blazer back flap carry my phone. But blazer back flap then I blazer back flap really decided that I carry my phone not only for the music, but also blazer back flap in case blazer back flap of blazer back flap emergency. The Garmin VivoActive blazer back flap HR had everything I wanted and cheaper, and even would have blazer back flap liked the idea of having golf blazer back flap (even blazer back flap though I haven't golfed in 10 years), blazer back flap but it's just blazer back flap darn ugly (IMO).In the end, it really blazer back flap came down blazer back flap to the Garmin 235 vs 735xt. And whether blazer back flap the multi-sport blazer back flap and swimming functionality blazer back flap of the 735 was worth an extra $120. And so obviously I decided on blazer back flap the 735xt. blazer back flap Which I'm glad I blazer back flap did because it works awesome in the pool. For me it just came down to blazer back flap whether or not I blazer back flap wanted to track distance in the pool instead blazer back flap of blazer back flap just time and if that blazer back flap was worth $120.Here's been my experience with blazer back flap it, blazer back flap using it blazer back flap for 7 days now.Pros:- Looks OK to wear as an everyday watch- Light (very blazer back flap light, which may also be somewhat of a con for blazer back flap some, see below)- Pool Swim function counts distance blazer back flap and time (love how you just enter the pool size and blazer back flap it automatically keeps track of the distance, knowing when you make a turn)- Connect IQ, this is where you can blazer back flap download watch blazer back flap faces, apps, widgets, data fields, etc. I've blazer back flap added blazer back flap a different watch blazer back flap face and use a stopwatch, blazer back flap timer blazer back flap app that I got blazer back flap from the blazer back flap IQ blazer back flap store. blazer back flap I use the stopwatch and timer a lot plus I've added a nice data field for running blazer back flap that blazer back flap shows blazer back flap HR (and color for blazer back flap zone), Pace, Cadence, Time, Distance blazer back flap all on the same screen- Has some basic blazer back flap smart watch blazer back flap features. blazer back flap Email, calendar notifications, music controls for phone, blazer back flap etc. I really blazer back flap wanted these features in blazer back flap a watch, but have realized since blazer back flap wearing that I just turned them all blazer back flap off. Honestly, I blazer back flap get bugged enough with text blazer back flap and emails and don't need my blazer back flap watch distracting blazer back flap me also. So I just leave blazer back flap it on do-not disturb, as I do with blazer back flap my phone also when blazer back flap I'm blazer back flap running. Although the blazer back flap watch blazer back flap does have a blazer back flap user profile setting where you blazer back flap can blazer back flap set your sleep hours, so blazer back flap it sets the watch to do-not-disturb automatically during these times- Garmin blazer back flap Connect Mobile App. Pretty good app, full of data and makes it blazer back flap easy to blazer back flap install and customize watch faces. blazer back flap Many watch faces allow you to customize them (how and what blazer back flap data is displayed, blazer back flap basic colors, etc.). blazer back flap It's pretty awesomeCons:- blazer back flap Only con I blazer back flap can really think of blazer back flap is that blazer back flap the Garmin weather widget on the watch is not working for me. blazer back flap I did download a 3rd party weather blazer back flap widget, but blazer back flap it's blazer back flap not as blazer back flap dynamic as the Garmin blazer back flap version and only shows temp (hi/low) blazer back flap for blazer back flap the blazer back flap day. This is apparently common and happening with blazer back flap other blazer back flap users, so I'm pretty sure Garmin blazer back flap will have blazer back flap a firmware blazer back flap or software fix blazer back flap for this sometime blazer back flap soon. And I've tried about all the troubleshooting fixes blazer back flap I could find (e.g. location services, etc.) on blazer back flap the internet and blazer back flap Garmin forums. Now about the blazer back flap form factor and weight. It is blazer back flap plastic. And blazer back flap this blazer back flap may be a be blazer back flap negative for some. I remember trying on blazer back flap the blazer back flap display model blazer back flap at blazer back flap REI blazer back flap and it felt like a toy. Of course I know these display blazer back flap versions are basically shells blazer back flap and not the real thing, but even the real blazer back flap thing blazer back flap feels blazer back flap a bit like a toy. blazer back flap So if you want a heavy, steel, metal or oversize watch, this probably isn't for you.The last 2 watches I've worn were a G-Shock GW2310FB-1CR and for about 5 years a blazer back flap Lunimox Colormark Chrono (BO) every day. I like light watches. And for me, blazer back flap this Garmin 735xt is light, blazer back flap comfortable, blazer back flap and blazer back flap even though a bit "plastic" blazer back flap feeling... because I guess it blazer back flap is, it fits my blazer back flap use case perfectly. And blazer back flap if it blazer back flap ever breaks, I'm blazer back flap lucky enough to live about 30 blazer back flap minutes from Garmin's world blazer back flap headquarters blazer back flap and have heard good stories blazer back flap from friends blazer back flap who've blazer back flap taken blazer back flap their blazer back flap Garmin devices out there for service.Battery LifeThe specs say a bunch of different things, 14 hours in activity mode with GPS, 11 blazer back flap days in blazer back flap watch mode (activity tracking, smart notification, etc.) But blazer back flap here's what I've gotten from the first blazer back flap week. From a full blazer back flap charge and blazer back flap daily activity I went about 4 blazer back flap days and blazer back flap it was at 25%. But that's been with blazer back flap me fiddling with the watch a lot.I did a full charge of the blazer back flap watch blazer back flap on a Sunday. Did 8 blazer back flap mile run on Monday, 1000 Meter Swim blazer back flap on Tuesday, 5 Mile Run on blazer back flap Wednesday, 1000 meter swim on Thursday and by Thursday evening it blazer back flap was blazer back flap about at blazer back flap 25% and in the blazer back flap evening blazer back flap it blazer back flap beeped and blazer back flap said "save power blazer back flap mode", which I wasn't quite sure what blazer back flap that was blazer back flap at the time blazer back flap so I went ahead and put it on the charger. Looking like it's about 10-12% per day with at least a 30-45 minute activity with GPS each day. Keep in mind I have activity tracking, blazer back flap continuous heart blazer back flap rate monitoring, and use the stopwatch and blazer back flap countdown timer a blazer back flap few times during the day also.I hope this blazer back flap review helps. I researched (and obsessed) for months on which blazer back flap one of these to blazer back flap buy; weighing features style and price. Of course I'm biased now blazer back flap as blazer back flap I purchased the 735xt, but as blazer back flap of blazer back flap yet have no buyers remorse. So blazer back flap why blazer back flap not 5 stars blazer back flap I really blazer back flap never give anything 5 blazer back flap stars, but if blazer back flap the weather widget blazer back flap would have worked out of the box I probably blazer back flap would have.Connected features4: smart blazer back flap notifications, automatic uploads to Garmin Connect, blazer back flap live tracking and blazer back flap moreI bought it more to run but I find that it blazer back flap only brings a RUN option, it blazer back flap does not blazer back flap bring the blazer back flap RACE option, blazer back flap it blazer back flap brings several options for blazer back flap swimming, bike and triathlon, as well as for blazer back flap indoors sports.I don't like the heart rate system sometimes it's very blazer back flap precise but sometimes it's totally wrong.I have to blazer back flap use blazer back flap the Garmin band, which blazer back flap is very precise.Offers VO2 max blazer back flap estimate, lactate threshold (when used with blazer back flap a chest blazer back flap strap heart rate monitor), race blazer back flap predictor and blazer back flap recovery blazer back flap advisorEstimates heart rate at the wrist so blazer back flap you blazer back flap can blazer back flap run freer on blazer back flap race blazer back flap day.Shock resistant. Las blazer back flap funcionalidades prometidas funcionan sin ningn problema. blazer back flap Lo nico es blazer back flap que yo tena una expectativa blazer back flap muy alta respecto al blazer back flap sensor blazer back flap de ritmo blazer back flap cardaco en la mueca, pues quiero dejar blazer back flap de blazer back flap usar el sensor de pecho que me molesta blazer back flap mucho blazer back flap en carreras largas, sin embargo he blazer back flap visto que el ritmo en reposo se muestra un blazer back flap poco por debajo del real (Medido con blazer back flap sensor blazer back flap de pecho) y aunque la blazer back flap curva de esfuerzo va subiendo bien, blazer back flap con el ejercicio, en blazer back flap general se nota blazer back flap por debajo blazer back flap de mis ritmos conocidos, por lo cual no estoy completamente tranquilo al respecto. Igual siempre advierten blazer back flap que es ms preciso el de pecho...Provides advanced dynamics for blazer back flap running, cycling and swimming7, including ground contact time balance, stride blazer back flap length, vertical ratio and more (when paired with a Running Dynamics blazer back flap Pod, HRM blazer back flap Run blazer back flap or HRM Tri Monitor, sold blazer back flap separately)My son really loves this watch more than blazer back flap an Apple blazer back flap Watch blazer back flap for military training. He says its excellent & easy to blazer back flap use.I've had blazer back flap the Garmin 735XT blazer back flap for five years when it finally died. It blazer back flap had been through blazer back flap everything, e.g., deep dive, longtime water sports, Ultramarathons, cycling, blazer back flap logging, blazer back flap etc. This watch blazer back flap is a work horse. I jumped on the internet to look blazer back flap at blazer back flap a replacement when I found the watch is all blazer back flap but gone with newer blazer back flap models with a whole blazer back flap bunch of I could blazer back flap care less blazer back flap bling. blazer back flap If you want something that does the blazer back flap job of a GPS blazer back flap tracking blazer back flap watch without all of the bling this is the watch for you at blazer back flap a third of the price. A must have instrument.GPS running watch with multisport features

Buyer's experience:
