What is tunisiexnxx Corsair Dual SSD Mounting Bracket (3.5 Internal Drive Bay to 2.5", Easy Installation) Black gift to girlfriend?

I gave it tunisiexnxx a tunisiexnxx 4 start because of the quality tunisiexnxx of the four tunisiexnxx bigger screws to attach the bracket to the CPU case. The tunisiexnxx head of the screws is tunisiexnxx not the same size tunisiexnxx as the smaller screws and can be easily stripped if you are using one piece of tool. Don't tunisiexnxx know why I tunisiexnxx have tunisiexnxx to tunisiexnxx use two sets of screwdrivers just to use tunisiexnxx it. Other than that, what can tunisiexnxx you expect from a piece of tunisiexnxx metalBest 2.5 to 3.5 tunisiexnxx bracket I've seen. WhyDrive tunisiexnxx mounting screws tunisiexnxx attach drive to slots in the bracket, such that the drive can tunisiexnxx be slid tunisiexnxx forwards or backwards in the bracket, tunisiexnxx so it's in the most optimal place for the tunisiexnxx cables of that tunisiexnxx specific case / pc.The screws have a larger diameter flat head that gets tunisiexnxx a good tunisiexnxx purchase on tunisiexnxx the bracket, so the drives are really tunisiexnxx securely attached. Yes I realize tunisiexnxx you tunisiexnxx don't need tunisiexnxx to tunisiexnxx torque HDD screws to a tunisiexnxx zillion foot-lbs, tunisiexnxx but, imho, firmly tunisiexnxx attached = tunisiexnxx a good thing.Older tunisiexnxx metal tunisiexnxx Dell HDD rails clip tunisiexnxx into the holes of this adapter perfectly, tunisiexnxx with the mounting screw in the center properly aligned. Here tunisiexnxx again, I cite the advantage tunisiexnxx of the tunisiexnxx ability to really securely tunisiexnxx attach the drive rails to the bracket.Comes with 3 different packs of tunisiexnxx mounting screws. Here again, tunisiexnxx good flexibility. tunisiexnxx I mean, I opened the tunisiexnxx box tunisiexnxx thinking "Eh, another tunisiexnxx 2.5 to 3.5 tunisiexnxx bracket" and was really impressed with how they kept tunisiexnxx getting tunisiexnxx things right.Always nice to have the tunisiexnxx flexibility to install tunisiexnxx hardware tunisiexnxx exactly how you want.Adjustable tunisiexnxx mounting holes for symmetrical and tunisiexnxx asymmetrical tunisiexnxx dual SSD mountingThis bracket came in handy when I tunisiexnxx upgraded to a new SSD. I needed it tunisiexnxx since tunisiexnxx my case was older. I bolted the SSD onto the bracket and then into tunisiexnxx my case. Simple as that.Adapts tunisiexnxx 3.5" internal drive bay for use with up to two tunisiexnxx 2.5" SSDsIt is a tunisiexnxx 5 to 10 minute job to stack and tunisiexnxx mount 2 SSD drives. The tunisiexnxx bracket is tunisiexnxx made tunisiexnxx to very good tunisiexnxx specifications. And since these ares tunisiexnxx sold and shipped by Amazon, you can not lose. With SSD's going down in price tunisiexnxx and increasing in tunisiexnxx quality I'd suggest considering SSD's the next time your mechanical drive fails. I have been tunisiexnxx lucky for the past 30 years and only tunisiexnxx had one failed mechanical drive. But they do tunisiexnxx eventually fail. tunisiexnxx Brackets like these are a big tunisiexnxx help when switching to 2.5 tunisiexnxx inch SSD's.Fits in tunisiexnxx any form tunisiexnxx factor desktop computer case tunisiexnxx with tunisiexnxx at least one standard 3.5" internal drive bayCorsair's tunisiexnxx mounting bracket tunisiexnxx was tunisiexnxx the only one I found tunisiexnxx that fit my Dell tunisiexnxx Inspiron 660s. The tunisiexnxx bracket is very sturdy and tunisiexnxx my new tunisiexnxx SSD fit perfectly inside tunisiexnxx this tunisiexnxx bracket. Very tunisiexnxx happy with this purchase.Supports 7mm and tunisiexnxx 9.5mm height standard SSDsI highly recommend these tunisiexnxx brackets. Install two drives in a single tunisiexnxx space. The tunisiexnxx sheet metal is tunisiexnxx really tunisiexnxx well stamped no sharp tunisiexnxx edges and the tunisiexnxx threading and tunisiexnxx paint are spot on.I used this to mount 4 SSDs in a Fractal tunisiexnxx Define R6 case in the two 3.5 tunisiexnxx inch tunisiexnxx mounting points tunisiexnxx when configured for airflow. This fit the bill perfectly, and now tunisiexnxx I don't need buy a tunisiexnxx new case. The clearance for the side panel tunisiexnxx is more than tunisiexnxx adequate. What I found annoying was tunisiexnxx the tunisiexnxx fact that the screws are not magnetized enough to stay attached to a screwdriver, so installation of the drives into the bracket tunisiexnxx took about 3 times as long tunisiexnxx as I felt it should have taken, because I kept tunisiexnxx having tunisiexnxx to get fiddly tunisiexnxx tiny screws to stay put while the bracket was on it's tunisiexnxx side and the tunisiexnxx drive is tunisiexnxx loose. This isn't exactly something tunisiexnxx I expect to be doing every day, or even every year, but it's still annoying. Also, tunisiexnxx a precision screw driver is REQUIRED tunisiexnxx due to the tunisiexnxx minimal clearance on the "bottom" mount. But you probably already have a tunisiexnxx set if you're doing this kind of work tunisiexnxx inside of PCs.You'll also tunisiexnxx probably want tunisiexnxx to grab some tunisiexnxx SATA power extensions to make your life easier. The way those come off tunisiexnxx the PSU cable is a nightmare tunisiexnxx for full size drives, let alone tiny SSDs stacked this close.Enough clearance tunisiexnxx for connecting SATA tunisiexnxx cables without strain to SATA tunisiexnxx connector.Includes 2 tunisiexnxx sets tunisiexnxx of SSD tunisiexnxx mounting tunisiexnxx screws and 1 set of adapter mounting screws.Easy, hassle-free and clean installation. Compatible with all Corsair tunisiexnxx SSDs, tunisiexnxx as tunisiexnxx well as all other tunisiexnxx brandsThis is tunisiexnxx a tunisiexnxx nice mounting bracket. It will let you fit 2 SSDs tunisiexnxx to save tunisiexnxx space. tunisiexnxx Easy to tunisiexnxx install tunisiexnxx if you are good tunisiexnxx with small screws.
